Doordash From there I thought I got the wrong order. I didn?t they were apparently out of what I did ordered and decided to... chose what I eat instead of canceling. I got the roast beef, Mac and butter beans. It?s all gross, the rice is mushy, the beeflooks scary everything about it is nasty. Doesn?t even deserve 1 star. I tried calling the restaurant, straight to voicemail.Right after the fact when I issued a refund they told me the restaurant stopped doing doordash so I couldn?t get a reorder.Disgusting. Read more

After reading other reviews, we gave this place a shot. I ordered the patty melt; my fiance ordered an omelette and pancakes.... Five stars for the portions and flavor!!! Food was made fresh to order and was banging. Read more

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here! Totally trumps that other waffle place. Eggs were yummy. Country... Fried Steak with gravy delicious. Waffle was sweet and French toast was good. We will be back to taste more. Read more
EDIT: I raised my review because the cashier was very sweet and gave me a full refund and completely understood the... situation. I am very upset with my first experience at Spillway diner. I ordered the Spillway Sampler and it came out so burntand overcooked it was literally hard as a brick. I am disgusted to have paid $11 for the inedible food that I received. Anyknowledgable manager or kitchen staff should know that this is not acceptable. Read more
Terrible takeout experience. Called in to place my order at 11:30 AM. I was told that it will be 45 mins to an hour. Arrived at... the restaurant after 12:30. They promptly took my payment and then the hostess informed the kitchen staff to start preparing myorder. I guess the 45 minute estimate was just a random number that had nothing to do with orders in queue. The restaurant wasabout 30% full. While I waited three tables were served and one more table was in the wait. At around 12:50 (twenty minutesafter my arrival at the restaurant), the cook stepped off the grill to enquire if I was waiting for a takeout order or to placea dine in order!!! 1 hour and 20 minutes after having placed my order, they had NO CLUE that I was waiting for my food. Anyway,my order was finally ready after 10 more minutes. The server took her own sweet time talking to customers, checking her phone,and engaging in banter while bagging my takeout boxes, and handed them over to me without even a hint of an apology for the 1.5HOUR WAIT. When I got home I realized that there were no waffles, as ordered, in my MVP breakfast. And they hadn't packed inany cutlery either. The food was okay, I guess, but frankly I wasn't even hungry any more. Next time I can anticipate beinghungry in about two hours, I will definitely consider ordering again from Spillway Diner. YUCK! Stop eating nasty food. Terrible tasting food with an after taste in every bite. I ordered the bacon burger with added egg... that was gross. The burger was big for no reason it was bland and hard. The bread was sweet like a pastry. Their country friedsteak is store bought! What's with so many restaurants in the area buying store bought food? Nothing is made in house, to becalled a diner. I realize why they aren't busy. Mostly new customers who don't return and set in their way old customers who areused to the bland overcooked food. Sweetheart server. No compliment for the cook. Read more
