Dynamite rolls are amazing, so tasty! Awesome display when it arrives. The Red dragon rolls on the other hand are spicy like... the lake of fire at a southern Baptist church. This thing will taste smooth at first, but the flames of the dragon will comeshortly after. You've been warned. Atmosphere was nice, not too fancy, but not casual either. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Sushi tasted... good. It wasn?t the best I?ve tasted, but it was still good. They even have some lunch deals to get several rolls for cheaperprices :) I had the Rising Sun roll and it was very delicious! Read more

What an absolute treat, wow. Beautiful sushi rolls with absolutely delectable, fresh ingredients. *chef's kiss* I got three... rolls to go and wish I would have taken pictures of all three but my dad and I dug into them the second we opened the boxes andpolished them off asap. The one pictured here is the salmon tempura and it was out of this world. I also got the volcano rolland Mexican roll and they were both divine. Can't wait to go back! We were looking for a sushi place in Brandon and came across Sushi Maru. We decided to have Sushi at Sushi Maru. It is a... beautiful restaurant with nice decor and great ambience. We were seated as we went inside the restaurant. We were greeted by ourserver with water and from seeing the menu we decided to order Volcano and Super Mexican Sushi. We got our order in 15-20minutes. The sushi ordered was amazing and tasty. We loved our delicious sushi and we loved our food at Sushi Maru. Amazingrestaurant with the delicious food. Do try both of theses Sushi as they are delicious in taste. We will try other sushi againfrom Sushi Maru Restaurant. Read more
I?ve been to Sushi Maru several times and it has never ceased to please me. Their sushi is always amazing and their staff is... very kind. The rice isn?t chewy but not dry, their fish seem to be pretty fresh, and everything in their seems pretty clean.Their spicy tuna has a kick and I love it, I?ve been to some places where their spicy tuna isn?t spicy. Their Mexican roll isperfectly fried. I always like this sushi place when I come to Tampa. Read more
The prices are a bit steep but the food is really, really good! We had with them last night 3 of the best sushi rolls me and my... husband ever had and we are people that eat lots of sushi! The server was super nice and sweet. Food came out unexpectedly fastand pretty, you can actually see the care with wich the rols are being assembled and sliced. Read more
