Had to take out all of the chicken and most of the sweet potatoes. Low quality. Chicken was gross and had a lot of nasty gamey... tastes to it. Last time I ordered here and didn?t spit the chicken out when it tasted like this I immediately ended up in thebathroom. For an hour. They forgot my sauces as well. Almost every single time. Sent me a bowl without the steak that I paid extra for. The sweet potatoes are also under cooked. Quality used to be good here,... last couple months its been trash. Will be ordering from Bolay a few blocks down instead from now on. Read more
A great restaurant with good service and delicious food. I liked the interior of the restaurant. If Hawaiian music was playing... it would be a complete immersion in the atmosphere of a vacation! I?ve been here a few times and it?s always been disappointing but i went in and the atmosphere was fantastic. Looked good... smelled delicious. Everything was nice and clean and the staff was so friendly! I got the Sweet potatoes, basmati rice, Brusselssprouts and teriyaki chicken. It was absolutely delicious. This was awful! A friend warned me not to go but I had to try it for myself. I wish I had heeded her warning. I got Teriyaki... Chicken over basmati rice mushrooms and sweet potatoes. My first bite had a large chunk of sweet potato. As soon as I started tochew my brain said something is wrong! 1) They leave the skin on which creates a VERY chewy layer. 2) They were over cooked andtasted burned 3) They had a sandy texture not smooth like normal. It was GROSS! Next, the teriyaki chicken. The flavor was notbad but it was so over cooked I could not chew most of it? like shoe leather. I wound up taking most of the chicken and all ofthe sweet potatoes out of the bowl and just ate rice, mushrooms and smashed avocado. My husband had the bbq chicken over ricewith broccoli and Brussels sprouts. He said it wasn?t terrible but it wasn?t worth returning for either. His chicken was alsoover cooked but he was hungry and ate it anyway. We both had upset stomachs within an hour. I could not recommend thisrestaurant to anyone. *The bathrooms need a good cleaning. I've been here twice and both times have been amazing. The food is delicious and offers so many different flavor combinations at... affordable prices. The drinks are unique and refreshing as well. The owner personally comes to ask about your experience whichis nice. In response to the poor meat comment, they just use white and dark meat chicken so they're not wasteful. I had alreadyeaten my food so couldn't take a picture of that too ???? Try it!! Read more
