Was looking for a new Italian restaurant to try out and came across Allegria. Went for dinner and was not disappointed. Started... off with the mozzarella corrazzo and loved it. The sauce was great! For an entree I went with penne ala vodka. It was absolutelytremendous! The owner was there and he was moving from table to table talking with customers. Seemed to really care about hispatrons. My first experience here was great. Five stars was given because after our failed attempt to make an online reservation for... Father's Day, a man with some pull (Mgr? Owner?) so kindly seated us. Understand, this place is not large; almost all who camehad a reservation. The food was delicious: Sampler for 4, Calamaretti Fritti, Eggplant Rollatini, Fettuccini Alla Giovanna,Lemoncello Marscapone, and Chocolate Cake. Recommend. Read more
Today was my 3rd visit. 1st time with lady friends for an afternoon out. 2nd time was with my hubby, brother in law & his... girlfriend. Today was just hubby and me. Service and food was top notch. Well worth the money and most likely the best Italianfood in the Brandon area. Michael is awesome! Always greets you with a smile and if your first time at the resurant will explainthe menue and ask if you have any particular food allergy. Always treats customers with respect and is friendly. My hubby LOVESthe veal cutlet parmesan. Said it is made perfect every time. Me, I try something different each time and it is just asdelicious as the last dish I tried. Read more

My boyfriend and decided to dine in after getting take out from here a few weeks ago. Someone greeted us right away, I didnt... catch his name but he was very nice. Sat us down and brought us some menus. The atmosphere of the place is amazing. Somehownostalgic. I loved every minute of being there. They had Ella playing jazz on the piano which was amazing and so soothing tolisten to while we dined. The people in the restaurant seemed like they all knew each other, like it was a big family ofregulars. Always a good sign. Our server was Michael. He was probably the best server I've ever experienced. He was kind,patient, and informative. He told us the specials for that night and took care of us perfectly. A wonderful person! The foodcame and everything we had was fantastic. The portions were big enough to take half home to enjoy for lunch tomorrow. Which I amvery excited about! This place is a favorite of ours. We have been here a couple of times and love to come here for a date night. There is never any... rush and we can take our time and have a nice long dinner.
