Having 3 Thanksgiving dinners on our schedule this year, we decided to host one that was not as traditional. We had ordered... our meal at AL Madina Food Grill & Deli and truly savored every bit of it. The food was amazing! So fresh, full of flavor,delicious, and with a number of vegetarian options. Our Thanksgiving 2022 menu consisted of grilled lamb chops, chicken kebab,falafel, rice, tabbouleh salad, hummus, cheese pie with zatar, spinach pie, spiced pickled veggies, pita bread, and knafeh. Theowners and staff were kind, generous, and shared the love of their food with us, giving us the opportunity to taste certainitems before we ordered. Our menu was placed the day before and ready the next day as requested at 5pm. The owner made sureeverything was to our satisfaction and the staff assisted us to load everything into our vehicle. AMAZING.... fresh, authentic tasting, flavorful food! I'm so happy I looked for Gyros around Brandon, FL or I may have never... found this place. The food is very flavorful, it's prepped then heated to order. You know when someone cooks with passionbecause you want to relish in every bite like it was the first bite. Maybe I'm exaggerating but maybe not! I didn't even end upordering a Gryo. I ordered Chicken Schawarma, Chimichurri Chicken & Chicken Kabab for 2 adults and 2 children. We are it fordinner two days in a row so the portions are nice. I even purchased a couple dessert items from the store which was wellorganized and very clean. The couple who work here are friendly and offered me some samples. The only problem with all the great samples is you have to... choose only one ????. After sampling the falafel, I went with that. The falafel is prepared correctly. I also had the hummus,which was what hummus is supposed to taste like. The place seems to have several loyal frequent customers, I talked to severalin line. Overall, this place reminds me of all the great food that I have had in the Middle East. Read more
Delicious food and lovely family owners Sammy and Sara! Second time we?ve eaten here and we will be back soon! The restaurant... sits in the rear area of a well stocked middle eastern market. Sammy and Sara really spoiled us with bringing out severaldifferent items for us to taste while waiting for our lunch order. OMGoodness the meat pie and the cheese pie were bothamazing!! We had the spinach pie last visit and it too was so good! Sammy gave my husband a lamb chop to sample and my husbandsaid it was hands down the best chop he?s ever had! Wow! My food journey continues to be amazing in 2022. I stumbled upon this great store the other day. You walk into a... friendly atmosphere and a clean, organized store. Then, the aromas from the Cafe in the back take over, and you find yoursuddenly hungry. The owner was so nice and answered all my questions about the figs , pita bread and unique foods. I made myway to the Cafe where I sampled some roasted chicken and soup. The flavors were very good, and I saw they had Lamb Kabobs on themenu. I haven't had much Lamb since I went to the Netherlands. So, I was hopeful. They explained to me all of their meat isfresh, never frozen. They don't even have a freezer. No chemicals or added fats or hormones and all of their meats and chickenare raised ethically. The Lamb was so amazing that I was able to cut it with my fork, and the mild flavor of the Lamb made meso happy. I had some of their fresh garlic sauce and spicy chimichuri as an accompaniment and bounced between the sauces andjust the meat. The rice was perfectly cooked, the homemade humus was so fresh and smooth I couldn't stop eating it. I even tooka few bites of my lunch partners steak. So good. For desert, I had the most incredible baklava, i am normally not a fan. Theoutside was flaky and not too sweet; the finish was creamy and the pistachio was a unique experience. I had my party catered from their restaurant and the food was so delicious. They had everything ready on time and super fresh... and made everything so easy for me. All my guests loved the spread. The restaurant employees were so nice and easy to work with.I was so pleased to see how generous they were with the portions and it was all reasonably priced. Will definitely use them forfuture events and plan on getting take out dinners. Read more
Just ordered the mixed grill platter and it was EXCELLENT. You can tell that all of the food and sauces here are fresh. This is... going to become a go to spot for me when I just need some quality homemade food. Service here has always been fantastic, nicestpeople you?ll find. Read more
