I used to love going there for biriyani, but I won't suggest it to anyone going forward. Yesterday, we placed an order for one... lamb and one chicken biriyani. There was not enough for one person in either situation. Lamb biriyani has only some bones, nomeat, and one large, complete potato. Additionally, my chicken biriyani gave me some plastic thread. Only thing worthwhile was the naans. Behari kebab tasted stale. Chicken tikka had just food colour and no spice. Overall totally... pathetic. They are bringing shame to my childhood memories of student biryani. I have had student biryani in dubai and it wasvery close to what I use to have in karachi. This place is a total shame. Read more

I just wasted $21 on lamb biryani and juice, this place is a disgrace in the name of student biryani because the biryani they... served me was actually lamb curry anyone that knows Pakistani food knows the difference because lamb cooked in biryani is drynot oily and taste like curry spices it was lamb curry mixed with the biryani rice to cut corners just to maximize the profit,you guys charge so much money for food because of the name at least serve people what you charge them for! Before trying out food at any new restaurant I always check the review. I was very shocked to see the recent reviews for this... place. However, the merchandising / all the food images displayed on the windows gave me a different feeling. For the 1st timein many years, I decided to ignore the reviews and give it a try. I wasn?t wrong going with the intuition. This place is one ofthe most hygiene place you will find in Brampton area. The store was so clean that you felt good. I tried their most sold itemChicken Biriyani and it was very delicious. They are one of the rare restaurants who provide Aloo (potatoes) in their biriyani.Quantity was good and I would say the price is value for money. Tried Student Biryani the first time today for lunch. Ordered the Haleem and Tandoori roti as well as the BBQ Biryani. Well... presented and clean restaurant with comfortable seating for families and groups. The staff is courteous and efficient.The foodwas piping hot, fresh and well flavoured. The Haleem was delicious and the BBQ Biryani was served with boneless chicken and aSeekh kebab. The portions are generous and shareable for a group. Will definitely be coming again.
