We hired Lena's Roti (Queen and Airport) to provide fresh on the spot doubles at our reception and they did not disappoint!... Chris and his team were incredibly professional, kind and easy to work with and not to mention everyone was going crazy for howdelicious the doubles were and how quick they were making them! I checked out a few other places that provided this servicebefore securing Chris and by far their prices were the most reasonable and affordable for the exceptional service and food theyprovided. 10/10 I would recommend them to anyone! I ordered a bone-in chicken roti, 1 doubles, kumar and a slice of macaroni pie ( picture added) through Uber eats. I?m not a... professional however what was advertised and what I got are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. The doubles and roti were mediocre,but the macaroni pie -10. It was definitely not it. First time trying this place and I just have to say it is AMAZING. I got the channa and potato roti, saheena, and shrimp... doubles. I'd never had saheena before but decided to try something new today and I am so happy I did - it was pillowy, tangy andso rich in flavour. You get options for sauces and I chose the tamarind and mango chutney for both the shrimp doubles andsaheena. The shrimp doubles are WOW - so tasty, good textures, and totally worth it from Lena's. The only thing I regret is notgetting more! And last, but certainly not least, the roti. It was really good as well, I found it a bit subtler in flavour butstill really good. Never order from this location . They charge overpriced food and get nothing inside. As I was told "I ordered a small so you get... little inside, ie half a pot spoon of curry and potatoes and two small pieces of chicken in a fairly large roti. I can count 4slices if potatoes.. if you want more you pay more, too bad." Not only do they cheap out on your food and charge you more money.Their customer service is disgusting. Authentic Trinidad and Tobago food at a decent price. They are very professional and helpful. I tried the jerk chicken, fried... fish and of course many many doubles. Hot is quite hot for the normal Canadian. The $40~ kept 2 big guys full for over 2 meals. Read more
