Always a repeat for me, jerk chicken with oven baked fries and garlic sauce. Much healthier option then shawarma. Prices is not... too too bad. Great owner, would love to see him expand ???????????? Read more

Imo, the spices are on point and the meat is cooked well (both steak and chicken). Yet to try seafood. Their wraps are always a... solid choice to enjoy! Read more

Update: Previously 5 star rating that should have been 10 stars if I had the option. When I discovered this place back in 2016... it was amazing, fresh, flavourful, and one of my absolute favorites. Now, since it's not being run by the original owner it'sgone downhill. I've tried to give this location a few chances and disappointed every time. The last time I ordered from here mychicken n steak bowl was so burnt that they covered in white sauce to hide it but was non edible. I'm done with this location -it's too expensive to keep being disappointed. Never going back. Read more

The food tastes good. The price is outrageous. I normally get the bowls, like a Suya steak bowl with jollof rice and it's about... $14-18, not terrible but not ideal. This time we wanted coleslaw with the rice and meat so we chose a "meal/entree" and askedfor Suya beef with coleslaw assuming rice would be a part of it, but it came with only coleslaw and meat. We were appalled, itwas $20 with tax. I counted about 6 pieces of meat and a box of cabbage. What is the difference between the bowl andentree/meal, bc they're the same thing except the entree is priced higher for no discernible reason and to top it all off themeal/entree portion doesn't come with that cream sauce on the top, yet the bowls do. If the only diff between the bowl andentree is portion size, then that portion size is not worth $20. I can get a much bigger meal at a sit down restaurant for thatsame price. I could get a Thai sesame bowl at Jack Astor's for $19.90 pre tax, which comes with a single portion of chicken, portion of rice, sauteed veggies made of 5 different veg, with sesame seed and green onion garnish and fried taro. The menu isvery confusing and I can confidently say after eating at both GTA locations for about 3 years, ordering is never straightforwardand easy. So sad because the food is good. Read more

Honestly, the flavour and taste was amazing. But I can't recommend this place. It was my first time trying it. I ordered the BBQ... Chicken bowl with Jambalaya. The box was so small, and the amount of chicken given was less than a quarter of the box. Filledthe box with rice, then on HALF of the top layer, they put the chicken. Not worth the $15 cost. If they're going to be puttingsuch small amount of chicken, it should cost $7 max. Really disappointed as I hoped it would become a go-to place for lunch. Not worth. Read more

Got the bbq chicken bowl and coleslaw. It was drenched in the coleslaw sauce. Thought rice would come with it since regular... bowls usually come with protein+rice+ coleslaw. Chicken was mushy and wet. Would not recommend as it is not worth any $$ Read more

Afro Asian kitchen, with authentic west African spices and foods and south Asian cuisines. A top five takeout spot in the GTA, a... hidden gem, for those who love full flavor and spice. Everyone I have introduced this place to loves it. Very extensive menuranging from rice meals to fun wraps and wings. Lots of flavor options for the grilled, chicken, beef, goat etc. Mild flavors toextremely hot spices like Asun African spice. My favorite is the suya, which is flavor fully hot but not extremely hot like theAsun. Read more
