CHARGED $52 for the blizzard cake which is priced at $38 at every other DQ location. Called the owner and she defended that... almost 40% rip off saying that it is a prime location and she has high overheads. To me that is a plain rip off and I conveyedthat to the owner Simmi as well. I just happened to be there because the Torbram location was closed for the renovation. Wish I could give 0 stars. Came in around 10:40 PM on June 27th, tried to order a blizzard and slushie is and said they?re no... longer serving. They probably turned off their machines, 20 minutes before they closed!! What lazy workers! Keep you servicesopen until you close! Terrible service, would not recommend to anyone. The flavour I tried for blizzard was Reese?s and I found it OKayish! Customer service is good, the guy on the counter was... friendly and the below is only a suggestion and not a complaint. When asked for a mini size, he responded like who takes a minisize atleast get a small. His intention might be honest and a recommendation so that we are not disappointed by less quantitybut just that it didn?t sound out that way. We were asked if are we trying dairy queen for the first time. Let the customerchoose and don?t ridicule the choice, there has to be a better way to put across a recommendation for a bigger serving size evenif it?s not an upsell as you cannot assume how much appetite a customer has. I wasn?t offended by this because we talked in afriendly manner but someone else might. And you want be surprised, I only ate half the blizzard of the mini because it wasstill too much for me. This location is charging $52.00 for one ?8? ice cream cake and other locations are charging $37.99 for the same cake. I don?t... recommend this location and not only the cakes are expensive, they also reused the old cakes and make it over and resell them???????????? They didn?t meet consumer standards. Was a bit of a line up, but it moved very fast. The employees were fast and efficient and keeping everyone at a safe distance.... Got the new kit kat blizzard of the month which was fantastic! It has so much of the kit kat inside which was still nice andcrunchy in the blizzard. This is definitely one flavour this should always have. R.I.P to the crispy crunch blizzard...you willstill always be my fav! Read more
