Laid back, comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a huge menu of coal fired pizzas, panini, salads and pasta. Authentic Italian... with a creative flair. We had the Broccoli Rabe and Sausage Pizza and we had the Meatball Panini. Pizza crust and paniniciabatta bread were light and flavorful. Came here on a busy Sunday night with a large group and they did not disappoint. Excellent Neopolitan style pizza, perfect... salads, and some nice apps. They had a full staff and service was super quick. This is a really good alternative to Vic's onthe weekend, when you're not interested in waiting on that long line. However, if you don't want to wait, you're likely going tosit outside, so plan accordingly. Price came out to $48/couple, and it was BYOB, so we grabbed some wine and beer from a liquorstore down the block. Read more

My night at Del Pontes was great. From the hostess to our server, we had a really enjoyable time. We got 2 small pizzas to share... and it was just enough! Went to the bakery to pick up a few items and then stopped over for gelato. I got the rainbow cookiegelato - definitely recommend it! Read more
The service and the food is always so nice here. I don't think I ever had bad service or food here. My favorites on the menu are... the big fresh salads and the thin crust pizza. The salad can be a meal or shared as a first course and they have all differenttypes of salads and pizzas.They have nice seating inside but they also have a lovely covered outside area that is raised andgated so you are separated and set back from the street. It is also decorated with lovely flowering plants in pots. I am gladthey do not serve liquor because if they did I don't think I would ever be able to get a table because they would be so popular. In an area... that has so many great options for delicious NJ pizza, Del Ponte's never disappoints your palate. They have something foreveryone. If you can't make up your mind, order more than one and take it home with you after you enjoy the pleasant pizzeriaatmosphere (inside and sidewalk dining).
