Hello everyone I tried this restaurant a lot of my friends told me about to take out the chicken is good the only reason why... I’m giving one star is because the sauce they use for the chicken was extra salty they had white rice don’t know which partof Portugal use white rice I could be wrong on that part I just don’t know and also the potatoes or just sitting in oil itwasn’t roasted in anything personally for me I’ve tried a lot of different Portuguese food but does Portuguese food Iwon’t recommend I don’t know how people are giving these people 4 1/2 ?? but honestly the food was not worth 4 1/2 star atall it was worth just one star although for Portuguese restaurant the price was cheap we got four drinks and two large take outI had to throw away the food because it’s a very bad experience I had in there and I didn’t even enjoy the chicken becauseit was too dry. RUINED my sons Baptism party. Please read all details and think twice about holding an event here. We had my sons Baptism here... recently and prior to this we met with the owner of the restaurant to plan for the day so everything would run smoothly. We hadabout 36 people plus children. Upon getting there, they couldn’t even light my candles, pick up the balloons that had fallenas decoration. We had an open bar, people were getting charged drinks! We had to ask 20 times for drinks to the point peoplewere going and grabbing their own water/ pop, because no one was at the bar. No water was refilled at the table. People receivedNON ALCOHOLIC beer for an open bar I was paying for! The food took forever to come out, it was cold, awful, and not enough formy guests!! Children were not served any kids meals. We ordered a specific fish prior to the event with the owner; never wasserved. We were told we never ordered it. We asked for 2 hours for cake to be cut and served. One server for the wholerestaurant and my event was put on the back burner and not taken care of. When we complained, we were argued with and told itwasn’t their fault and still had to pay the full price. also for what we had to pay out of pocket, was never taken off thebill. My sons baptism was ruined, never again will we be returning. Beyond upset and disappointed how they treated our eventand my guests. This is my “go to” Portuguese restaurant. The food is definitely great, especially the Portuguese grilled chicken which is... the absolute best. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I will be back soon! Read more
