Reviews for Oma's Pizza and Italian Restaurant in Bradenton Beach, FL
We were looking for a pizza shop that makes Gluten Free pizza. I called first and asked and they said yes! They have a great gf... pizza! Its a 12? round personal size. I was hopeful to have a good pizza and we went in for dinner. Im gluten free for 11 yrsand the struggle for gf food while traveling is Real! We walked in and were welcomed with all smiles. The server told us to pickany seat we would like. The interior of the restaurant is what you would expect. A italian/pizza style restaurant. Approx 15booth style tables. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the gluten free menu items including the saladdressings! My husband ordered a medium pizza 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage. I ordered the gf pizza half pepperoni. I have to say? ofall of the places Ive eaten across the USA?.THE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA WAS AMAZINGGGGG! I literally could not stop saying that withevery bite I took! Lol I was sooo Happy!! I seriously want to order a gf pizza and have it FedEx to me!!! Sounds crazy right?? Iknow!! But it was SOOOOO GOOOD!!! The crust was just like a real non-gf pizza crust. It wasn?t the cardboard crust like most gfpizza?s are. If you are gluten free YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!!! You too will be so HAPPY!!! My husbands regular medium pizza came outlarger than expected. Cooked perfectly and the crust was lightly crisped with just enough chewy-ness to make it an excellentpizza as well! Being from the NJ/NY area we?ve had our share of pizza! Oma?s Pizza and Italian Restaurant is by far a totalWINNER!!! If you need gf or regular gluten-full?Please go here. You wont be disappointed! ???????? Read more
This was the only place I could find that was open past 9pm on the island. Having been driving by, it was always really busy so... I thought it would be good. We placed an order by telephone and just got one cheese pizza and loaf of garlic bread. Just liketypical Italians, this place was great. Their dough is wonderful and tasty. The pizza was great even though it was only a simplecheese pizza. It was also great the next day heated up again. We did not eat in and it appears they have fairly limited seatinginside the restaurant, but take out was great and I would eat here again. As for price, it was a little high for pizza but thisis on the island and close to where we stayed. Read more
Not worth the price!!! Conveniently they don?t have any prices posted on their website. $35 for a SMALL pizza and SMALL salad... and this is what they look like?. I could of made the salad out of sandwich supplies that I had and the pizza wasn?t eventmelted together. I should of gone down the street to eat and gotten a meal at an actual restaurant for the same price. Also theChef states that it comes with onions and cucumbers and my salad clearly did not have that? Read more
Stopped in to eat at Oma's. I was looking forward to trying their New York style pizza. It was short lived. A kind gentleman... told us to have a seat wherever we wanted. After 15 minutes nobody waited on us. One waitress came to the table next to us tohelp them. She looked at us and walked away. Some other folks were seated by a waitress. At this point we all decided the redflags were up. We all agreed we better leave. If your charging premium prices you should deliver premium service. We got up andwalked out, passing waitresses. Not a word. We have eaten out in this community every night and felt welcome and enjoyed ourtime in those places. On a good note we drove over the bridge and went to Pesto. Best Italian food I have had. See that review.Incidentally, Pesto responds to every review. Oma's responds to not a single review. After all as they told another customer,"We've been in business for 51 years". If your hanging your hat on that, good luck for the future. Sticking your head in in thesand doesn't make your problems go away. Read more
Ordered delivery and one of the pizzas had the crust horribly burned. When we called the lady at the store, she asked us to... bring it back because they needed to see it. When we explained it was delivered, she said "Don't you have a car?". Her rudenesscontinued and when she asked if we ate it, we said we tried a piece but couldn't finish it due to the burned crust. She said adriver would come to get it. After another hour we called the store and the lady said no one was coming because she said wetold her we ate it. Absolutely disgusted at this point, we drove the pizza back to the store and even after opening the box infront of this rude individual, she had to show it to an owner, who promptly said it should have never been served in the firstplace and to give us our money back. Whatever proud business this has been through the years, it has been tarnished with somenew people who shouldn't be running things. You look at the photos and decide for yourselves if you want to be insulted oversomething that looks like this. Read more
Ordered 2 pizzas carryout. The workers were pleasant and willing to do anything. It was our favorite pizza on Anna Maria. We eat... a lot of pizza and this was definitely worth it. Read more
#2 on our pizza favorites (#1 in Las Vegas and #3 in Indy local). Eeked by #2 due to first ever sausage slices not chunks,... fresh green pepper chunks not slivers, sauce almost like #3 and thinner crust than both competitors. Super garlic buttery bread(not sticks) is a unique winner and the meatballs meat ground soooo fine not lumpy. We've vidited the area 5 times and finallyin off peak season so parked in their lot and had a pleasant lunch. The waitress was old and feisty but hey you expect that inan Italian joint. The decor exactly what I expected, felt like I was in NYC. Would visit again but not too soon as they claimto have the largest pizza and we have a lot of leftovers! Read more
Stopped for lunch. Pizza was really good. Beer was cold. Service was friendly and quick. Decor is a little dated & dusty, but... we were there for the food & we were happy. Would return again! Read more
