Wifey and I had been craving Vietnamese food and fired up Google search. "Hey Google, show me Vietnamese restaurants near... me!". Google came back with a few (I am not sponsored by Google btw..bet definitely willing to be...) We landed on the PhôHouse. When we got there we were greeted with a hello and a smile and we're told we could sit wherever we pleased. Therestaurant was clean, bright and had a nice soundtrack going (80s) at the right volume. Service was quick and friendly. Now forthe food. We ordered. Crab Rangoon and Tofu Spring rolls. They bothe were good. The house special Phô which was DELICIOUS! thebroth was spiced perfectly. It was a generous portion and I needed to bring some home (Bonus!) We also got a Banh Mi and askedthat they sub the meat with tofu and they did so without a problem. This too was very good. Now even though this was enoughfood for us. We wanted to try their rice so we ordered the lemongrass and tofu dish knowing we would need to bring some home(Bonusx2). The rice and tofu were VERY good. Lastly we had some boba teas. The Milk and Mango teas were very good . All inAll. As it stands now. The Phô House is our go-to Vietnamese spot in the area. Pho House is under new management. It was good before but much better now. The place is cleaner and roomier as they have made... some upgrades. Bathroom is really nice for a restaurant. Staff is very friendly and provide great customer service. Pricesare fair and the food is better than before. The new owner and staff seem to understand what good customer service is and takepride in providing a nice experience. Only bummer was that they didn't have an avocado shake when I went. Hopefully they willstill serve this! Definitely recommend. Read more
Very happy I stumble upon this restaurant. Other pho restaurants in this area had poor reviews or review's that were not... current. My family and I ordered a banh mi, pho, mi xao don, cafe su da, mango boba. Everything was great. Pho was hot(temperature wise). Some places give you warm pho, I don't like it when I get luke warm pho. Needless to say, I was very happyto get a steaming bowl of pho. Mi xao don was cooked perfectly! Crispy on the outside and soft center, the beef was seasonedwell and the sauce was great. Really happy we decided on this dish. The boba comes regular tapioca pearls and popping pearls aswell. My kids enjoyed it very much. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I would recommend pho house and look forward toreturning when I'm in the area again. Read more
First time here and it was amazing! My husband and I usually go to St. Pete to get our pho but we wanted to try something that... was closer. This place did not disappoint. The place looks clean. The lady who waited on us was very kind. All the food that we ordered were really good. They were tasty... and the ingredients tasted fresh. The dishes were also generously portioned. I was very surprised that Bradenton has a decentVietnamese restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back. Read more
To preface this review, I have never had Pho before. At first glance the restaurant appears to have a nice environment if you... overlook the (what looks to be) visible stock room in the back. Perhaps it was a bad night for them however, despite having veryfew customers, getting a refill on water took no less than 15 minutes, though the Boba did arrive speedily. Once the foodarrived it was almost as if they gave up on customer service. The food was accompanied by an assortment of items: Jalapeño,Lime, and Mint. All of which did not seem particularly fresh, and though not visible, felt dirty. The Pho itself was very bland.The meat was unseasoned, and the noodles absorbed the tasteless broth. It is virtually impossible to get any bite of noodlesbeing as they were far too slippery, and much wetter than anticipated, though understandably so. The food was not worth theprice. It is a nice place and perhaps I don?t like Pho, or perhaps it wasn?t very good. I will not willingly return. To eachtheir own. Read more
