We were seated right next to the kitchen and the whole restaurant was pretty empty. It kinda smelled next to the kitchen.... Although, our server seemed new he did the best he could. The meals were just adequate. Nothing like usual. Sorry Team CrackerBarrel. Oh, the cashier was nice and helped me look at a Yankee Candle. The food was delicious! The have very special and tasty sides. Especially the sweet potato with marshmallows and pecan are... absolutly worth to try. As a dessert they serve pecan pie and it was a sin! Prices are top and not expensive. We would recommendand go back there. The stuff is very friendly and takes care of every guest in a supernice way. My girlfriend is visiting from Indiana and took me out for dinner to my favorite place to eat and we had a enjoyable time. The... atmosphere was comforting, our waitress was very helpful and checked on us often with great customer service, and the store wasmy favorite part of all because they have best gifts you can buy for your friends and family. Was there tonight. I ordered what I thought was southern fried chicken, what came out was chicken fried chicken. The sweet... waitress took it back and made it right even though it was my fault. Good food and good service. Your old time country store and restaurant. Lots of different candy and soda and gifts in the store... and lots of fried comfort food to enjoy when you move to the restaurant side of the place. Food portions are big and before wewent in most people were leaving with to go boxes. We did as well. We got two biscuits each and the sides were big as well. Went for Thanksgiving dinner. We anticipated there might be a line so we added our name to the list prior to arriving. They... were quite busy but managing traffic flow well. We got in within 10 minutes after arrival but add the 30 minute drive to getactual wait time. Food was outstanding and we would definitely go back again. I usually order breakfast food but the friedturkey was awesome. I am going to try the Cinnamon Roll Latte next time! Read more
