Placed order in restaurant and ordered 4 items. The total price was correct, however 1 item was not ordered on receipt and... another item got doubled. When realize we’re missing cheesy fries, saw we were charged for 1 lb. Of brisket. Pulled porkamount and brisket amount looked the same. When I took in and questioned that was told yes I’d only got 1/2 lb. Of brisket,she’d give me a refund. Gentlemen came and said no I got a pound and if I didn’t want to pay for it , he’d take it back.I’m from out of town and I have family here. We’ll never eat here again. Horrible service!!!!! Let me start with I’ve lived in South Texas for 10 years. I openly admit I’m very picky on bbq. The brisket looked pre... chewed. It’s tender tho, no flavor, no smoke ring AT ALL! But not moist. There is NO smoke ring on the turkey and dry butstill have flavor and texture of turkey. Pulled pork was dry and I refused to eat the pork or brisket. The food is bland. ItNEED sauce. I loved how they had multiple bbq sauces to try. The bread is good. Fries the oil needed to be changed and had aweird after taste. My kids barely ate the Mac and cheese. When I tasted it, it was ok. It has no real flavor, but not overcooked. My husband had hair in his food. Personally, it’s a skip. If I did go again I’d get bread and turkey. It gets 2stars for having multiple bbq sauces and the staff. The feel of the place is nice and Decor is spot on. Read more
Ordered Brisket, pulled pork, KC ribs, full rack of meaty back ribs and 2lbs of their wings. Requested 4 different sauces. ... Without a doubt these folks know their BBQ. The smoke, the portions and the flavors were off the hook top shelf! Juicy anddelicious with award worthy flavors. The sides: fried okra, sweet-tater fries, Mac n cheese and baked beans were pureperfection! Recommend ordering the ‘pick 3’ your first time so you can get a taste of several meats. Only gave one star because I had to, my husband and I done a take out order and spent over $50.00 and the the food was horrible... my okra was cold the ribs were very fatty and tasted like they had been boiled instead of smoked. My husband also orderedchicken strip's because he seen a customer in the restaurant eating them a they were large and looked delicious well needless tosay his were the opposite small and almost burnt. We used to live in Ruskin so we were very familiar with BubbaQue's and reallyenjoyed their food and never had a bad experience. We will never return to this establishment. Read more
Food was nice and meat was tender. No bread with the St Louis Basket, not sure why. Overpriced for what it was quantity wise.... Husband asked for 2 certain different sauces, when home we had 13 sauce pouches!!!! 13 for 2 people. Ridiculous. Maybe that'swhy it is expensive!!!! Read more
One of the best briskets I ever had ! And I had alot of them from all over United States. Quality is always consistent. Banana... pudding is also excellent, great quality pudding, not cheap tasting. Definitely a must try ! Read more
Very disappointed. I have eaten here plenty of times but tonight was the last straw. Had friends over an ordered wings. The... wings still had features on them, almost half of them???? ???????? Never had this problem before. Must be going cheaper onthings. Read more
Food was good, but friend's ribs were to dried out to eat. My ribs were soft and delicious. The waitress left lots to be... desired. She was not dressed in a professional manner, she forgot parts of our order and mixed up our sides. She kept playingwith her hair at the table. Then, she brought the check and we had to ask someone else to get her after waiting about 15 minutesfor her to come back. Read more
