I have gone there for breakfast with my former neighbor. We enjoy dining there. It has a different ambience more like a family... than a restaurant. The servers never forget the customers even when they only come in once a week. Today was the third time wehave dined there. I was impressed how well they remembered us. While the food tasted good, the service and overall quality was poor. We waited an extended time to be asked for drinks and to... receive menus. The drinks were not good, no one at my table drank from them. The water is tap. We ordered coffee that nevercame. I ordered biscuits and gravy only to be told once the food came out that they were out of biscuits. The food took over 30minutes to come out and everyone ordered basic eggs, toast, and hash browns. Our server did not check in on the tablefrequently. We had to track him down multiple times for sauce, drinks, etc. We received runny scrambled eggs and burnt Frenchtoast. Great spot! Extremely pleased with our breakfast. We had the classic Eggs Benedict and Waffle platter. AMAZING! Welcoming staff... and friendly service. Would have given 5 stars but had to wait a little too long for our check. Honest prices. Read more
We had a great time and loved the coffee! Unfortunately, our waitress was just not great. Long story short, you can?t just... smooth over your rudeness and a literal entirely missing dish with a discount on our check. Delicious food and lattes though! They cut corned beef with the grain instead of against it so extremely tough also rubbery suggesting Inferior product also no... 1ooo island.
