I have gone there for breakfast with my former neighbor. We enjoy dining there. It has a different ambience more like a family... than a restaurant. The servers never forget the customers even when they only come in once a week. Today was the third time wehave dined there. I was impressed how well they remembered us. While the food tasted good, the service and overall quality was poor. We waited an extended time to be asked for drinks and to... receive menus. The drinks were not good, no one at my table drank from them. The water is tap. We ordered coffee that nevercame. I ordered biscuits and gravy only to be told once the food came out that they were out of biscuits. The food took over 30minutes to come out and everyone ordered basic eggs, toast, and hash browns. Our server did not check in on the tablefrequently. We had to track him down multiple times for sauce, drinks, etc. We received runny scrambled eggs and burnt Frenchtoast.
