My family has been visiting the area for the last 11 years and this was our first visit. The food was excellent and the view is... great! The place is small with limited seating so keep that in mind. I give this restaurant four stars for their food . The Wait staff gave very good service as well. We did have to wait a very... long time for the food to come. Close to an hour. I realize many restaurants or short-handed these days. The quality of the foodmade up for the long wait though. They have a good selection of sandwiches and seafood and also a wide variety of mixed drinksand beer. The seating is outdoors with a fantastic view of the lake. It was a hot day when we were there but the ceiling fansand the breeze coming off the water made us feel comfortable. We ate there on a Friday at about 2:00 PM. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated (party of 5). That was... understandable, due to the limited seating. However, waiting for another 10 minutes after getting seated for somebody to takeour drink order isn't. Our waitress kept disappearing. I had to flag down another waitress just to get a refill on my son'sdrink. He sat there with an empty cup for over 10 minutes. The food was alright. We tried everything from the fish and chips,to the burger, to their turkey sandwiches. It was all just average. The kicker is that the food is very expensive for what youget. You're paying for the atmosphere. I'd recommend maybe doing it once if you've never driven your boat up to a restaurant,but I don't think that we will be going back. Read more
