We had a good experience here. We did the Hibachi which is always fun with fire, volcanoes and fun presentations while they cook... the food. The waiter was nice, the menu had lots of options, the food was very good and the price was average for this kind ofpresentation. Lots of birthdays here so be aware of the drums. WOW, amazing quality for great prices! Crazy good sushi, big time yum! Prices are WAY better than some other sushi joints in the... area. The sushi platter below was $40 (ish) during happy hour! Amazing staff, (Shoutout to Rylee!!!) and a real nice location.We recommend the Volcano, Shrimp Tempura and the Philadelphia! The eel sauce is the BOMB.COM. Great Great place to take my toddlers for dinner! My kids are currently 2 & 3 and we never get to go out to dinner. This was... perfect because they were very much entertained while dinner was being made! Then they LOVED their food! My 2 year old kept mostof his dinner ON the table, which is an improvement! He has to do everything himself, or he'd get more actually in his mouth.Thank you to all the staff for being so patient with kids! We will definitely be coming back as a family. Read more
The sushi was good but we ordered Hibachi from the regular dining side since their Hibachi side was only for reservations and it... wasn'tvery good at all. We paid $28 a piece for about $15 worth of food and it wasn't seasoned. The service itself was fantasticbut we definitely won't be going back. Read more
The manager was very rude to my son before we even sat down! We literally walked in the door the manager said we can only sit on... this side of the restaurant, we explained we drove 2 hours because my son wanted to eat here. Than as we sat down he informedour waitress we had to order immediately and to make room for other customers. I finally had to just get in his face and askedhis what the problem was and he finally backed off. He tried to explain it away as confusion with what we're going to order. Hadto tell him we didn't even get our menus yet. Thankfully he left and we got to order our food in peace. I have to acknowledgethe waitress Claire, she was really great during all this and I gave her a very good tip. The food was just ok, I would giveit 4-5 out of 10. My wife is Asian and she can cook amazing Asian food. So the sushi was obvious not very fresh and was way toofishy smelling and tasting. This is from it being frozen for a long time or way past it date for freshness. The chicken wasvery dry and seemed like was dry from leaving it on a counter too long, which made it dry on one side. Noodles and vegetableswere way soggy. I think the biggest problem was there was hardly any flavor, they didn't use seasoning on most of the meats. Ithink they tried to rely on the sauce the pored on it. So basically I was tasting chicken with a tiny hint of flavoring. Ifthis is what the managers interpretation of Asian dishes, he's not giving his customers the best quality food. I can name a fewfast food Asian restaurants that have much higher quality food than this. I can't believe I paid over $200 for our meal there,and realistically should have paid less than $100 for the quality including the tip. The only thing going for the food was thepresentation. They have quite the array of drinks here, choose from house cocktails to craft beer to imports. I personally wouldn't describe... the food here as incredible japanese cuisine,, but it is very consistent. If you eat here and enjoy it, then it'll be just asgood the next time, and vice versa. Overall a fun place, with good atmosphere and nothing I can complain about. Also has ahibachi grill side of the restaurant for those that enjoy an extra show. Read more
