Among the other more upscale restaurants in Bozeman, Urban Kitchen stands out for feeling more, well, urban. The exposed... concrete walls and somewhat industrial decor create an interesting atmosphere that?s still inviting. The food was excellent,it?s clear that the kitchen puts pride into their work. The homemade pasta was delicious, the burger (and fries!) were verysatisfying, and the lemon zest in the brick chicken was the perfect touch that made the dish shine. We had the lavender lemoncrème brûlée for dessert, which was well balanced and very subtly flavored. The service was excellent as well. The one thingthat made this four stars instead of five was the chairs. They?re so uncomfortable! It?s virtually impossible lean back andrelax because they?re too low and dig into your back. Delicious food and hospitable service. The Korean Fried Chicken was a little dry and very bread-heavy, but the sauce saved it... and was great with the mashed potatoes. Salmon was cooked to order and had an Asian twist to it, being also served with eggrolls. Read more

First off, I would recommend doing reservations if you like sitting at a table. We did not have one, as tourists who knew? Did... not matter, as they had spots at the bar which we were happy to take. We ordered an Old Fashioned and Manhattan to start, thebartender made some tasty cocktails. Extra points for immediately bringing us water as well. We split the sprouts/carrotsstarter and each ordered the avocado Caesar salad. When they brought the starter, it was a little weird that they did not thinkto bring us little plates, so we just chowed down right out of the little bowl. Not that I am used to raving about salads, butthe Caesar is really well done here! The service was super attentive and friendly as well. The place was crowded on a Saturdaynight, so it is obviously very popular. We enjoyed our food and cocktails very much! Read more

My husband and I went there for the first time for restaurant week. Everything we had was delicious!! We did their four course... tasting menu and a couple of things from their regular menu. The scallops were amazing! They were perfectly cooked, which isalways the worry scallops and it was a great flavor combination with a unique twist. The four course tasting menu was verynicely thought out and well executed. We had a couple of cocktails that were awesome! We asked their bartenders for some goodgin cocktails and they did not disappoint! They were fun to visit with and were creative with their drinks. Our waitress was newat her job and she was awesome!! Bubbly, friendly and did a great job!! Overall, we will definitely be back and feel that wehave found a new favorite restaurant! Read more

Delicious food in a gorgeous modern mountain restaurant. Everything tasted fresh and was very well prepared. The Brussels... sprouts were delicious, and that hot sauce was dynamite! I want to put that on everything. The scallops were absoluteperfection, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. For dessert, we had the special which was a decadent brookie (brownie cookiecombo) with homemade vanilla ice cream. Wow! Read more

This is by far one of the best restaurants I?ve ever eaten at (And I?ve traveled the world and back many times). You can tell... they use good local ingredients, because the food bursts with flavor and a perfection of home made Italian seasoning?. I can?tpraise them enough for their good food and amazing service. Thank you to our bar tender, Kate W., our server Sierra, and most ofall our Chef Joe who is a master to say the least.
