This location is nothing like the other Montana ones, Livingston and Butte do such a great job, but we’ve been really... disappointed with our last few visits here in the past couple months. My husband loves their gumbo and the location isconvenient next to Costco and other stores so we stop in often when running errands. The past few visits have been consistentlybad experiences with the same issues happening each time… seated immediately and order right away, the soup usually comes outrather quickly, but a few times it’s come out after a while and is cold, other times quick and piping hot. The entrees areanother story, the last few visits it took 30-45 minutes to get our entrees with only 5-8 other seated tables in the entireplace, then each time our food has been cold. In the past we just chalked it up to staffing issues, but these last few visitsthere’ve been so many people working. It’s like they are completely checked out and don’t care. Each time we wait and waitand no server comes back until we flag someone down asking to check on the food, then within a few minutes it comes out to ourtable, but again the food is served cold or room temperature. This has happened repeatedly and no one checks back. Today we madethe mistake of asking for our check when we got our food since it has been an hour and we needed to leave shortly, only to learnthe food was brought out cold. (Burger and fries, how is that possible?) We had already had the card for payment run and againno one came back so we ended up just leaving, our food was cold and gross, quite frankly no longer good. So bummed, this placereally has potential but is being run poorly and mismanaged. Really disappointing. Hope management takes the time to listen toreviews, I’ve already sent emails in past because truly thought it was just a couple mishaps. Now I’m sure it’s just poormanagement. Atmosphere: Made a reservation. Went on a Wednesday so wasn’t super busy. Not crazy loud, but music is playing with lots of... TV’s. Vibe: a lot of western themed pictures/decor. Pretty clean and new overall. Bathroom was nice but slightly dirty. Patiois really cute and nice but too cold for us to be sitting outside. Food: ribeye was delicious. Order medium rare, looked alittle more rare but still really good. The squash casserole and broccolini were okay…. Not really that great. Kind of coldand small. The steak was hot and cooked well. I’d love to give 5 stars because I went twice during my 3 day visit to Bozeman, and had 2 of the best steaks I’ve ever had!... Absolutely phenomenal steaks! However, both visits we had issues with our service. (I must add that the staff/servers werepleasant.) The first visit, the server was quite inattentive. The second visit, it took us what seemed like forever for theserver to even acknowledge we were there. I’d definitely go back because the food was so good but they could really take thisexperience to another level and carve themselves out as one of the elite in the country if they could improve the service. Waitress was stellar. First steak ordered medium rare, it was something like a toothless old man chewing on an alligator tail.... Second steak ordered medium rare, was definitely medium. We arrived and we're seated fairly quickly and sat there for a bit before a waitress arrived. We started with drinks. I got a... Red Rover without the sour mix, but I also didn't receive the whipped cream which was sad. My husband got a root beer and wasbrought a smaller size than asked for (but was anly charged for the smaller size at least). For our main meals we asked for a9oz filet with Mac N Cheese, And a Ribeye which was hand cut 15-16oz with garlic mashed potatoes . The table next to us orderedalmost the same thing and got their food well before we did. While waiting I went to the restroom which was small and one of thedispensers didn't work. A lady in there with a kid said it hadn't worked for a while. When we received our food they were almostdone and the first thing I noticed was their sides were a lot larger than ours even though I ordered the garlic mashed potatoesjust like the guy next to us. But let's ignore that for now. We were asked to cut into our steaks to make sure cooked right withthe waitress reminding us every few seconds to be careful the plate is hot...and it was scalding hot. My steak came cookedperfectly which I knew wouldn't stay that way on the scalding hot plate. My husbands was a little under done and they triedtaking it from him and he said it was fine but kept insisting and he had to yell it was fine to get them to leave. He was veryhungry since we'd been there over an hour by this point and just cut pieces off and laid them on the plate a few seconds to cooka little more. Neither of us liked our plates being so hot. It also didn't seem to cool down very quickly. I ended up putting anapkin under my steak to have it stop cooking it. His Mac and cheese and my garlic potatoes were also both a bit bland. After wefinished eating they tried pushing dessert and a membership on us.
