I cannot BELIEVE the difference one year makes. It was a disgusting experience as far as food is concerned. From being a TOP... sushi restaurant to have slid to a joke is a sad thing. First, the menu was incorrect: for the appetizers, it said the sashimihad three pieces of whatever item you ordered. So we ordered the Ikura parentheses (salmon roe), which we were told would beserved on cucumber. Having had this at several other places we imagined a small little cucumber sushi with Ikura. Instead, they gave us a dollop of Ikura and one 3 inch square sheet of cucumber and that was that. When we asked why, they said the ikuraand the crab were the only ones that came that way - just one piece. It used to be three, but now it’s one. But of course itwas not on the menu and no one would’ve known it. So we sent that back. The next course was the salmon skin hand rolls, whichwe waited and waited for, although we had told our server that she should bring it out first. Needless to say, it came late, with the rest of the food. When it came, the nori was soft and soggy, the salmon skin wasn’t crispy and it was dripping in thesauce, way too much of it than we’d ever experienced - from Sushi Bang Bang or anywhere else. So although disappointed, we ateit anyway, the rice falling apart drenched in sauce. Then came the main dish, which was always my favorite at this restaurantand it’s large. My sister and I had wanted to share it. It was the Volcano Roll, which I’ve had many, many times before. Here comes a crowning glory: the rice was soggy and never stuck together, often mushy, you could not pick it up it was rollingin the same sauce the same sauce as before! In this dish, the fish is seared and is hot with a bit of mayo but this was coldand soggy, unappetizing and not the same dish. Then there was supposed to have been whitefish in there, but there was nowhitefish: possibly because we had asked to remove the imitation crab. So it was all in all, thoroughly disappoin Read more

Love that this is a sushi only joint and that there's no Thai food on the menu. Dining area is pretty small indoors but they... offer outdoor seating. Service was great but a little slow. Food is delicious and fresh. The sushi here is definitely a lotpricier than other establishments. We really enjoyed our meal and the food here. The restroom creeps you out because of thelighting in it. It's black lights like you're at a club. Read more

Located in Boynton Beach, just west of 95 site Sushi Bang Bang, which offers your typical array of basic sushi and some more... creative rolls than your average local spot. While I have certainly been spoiled as of late with higher end, more quality sushirestaurants, bang bang serves up a nice local option when having one of those sushi kicks. The decor is plain, with chairsstacked and seating still spaced due to Covid, which leaves the place lacking a comfortability factor. There is ample outsideseating and who wouldn’t want to take advantage of that this time of year? The chef choice nigiri platter came served withyour expected pieces of salmon, tuna, yellowtail, etc. All decent portion size and a tasty sushi rice, but again, lacks thequality I’m so obsessed with at the establishments with fresher, more quality fish. The mac daddy roll pictured here wasrather good. Containing an unnamed whitefish (?) big eye tuna and rolled with a hint of cilantro which added a fresh flavor.Topped with chunks of jalapeño, chili garlic and a house sauce, it’s a mighty fine option should you find yourself here.Really a 4.5 star place for what it is in the area. Dine in for lunch, even though it was sunny and over 80 degrees out, we ate inside. From the genre of the music to the taste of... the food, Sushi Bang Bang is a nice place to eat. Unfortunately, the prices are a little steep. Would eat here again if theyoffered blue fin torro, blue fin tuna and uni......it was on the menu but not available. Read more
