Reviews for Detroit Eats in Boynton Beach, FL
I love how this place contrasts against the neighboring smoothie place in so many ways. It's family owned and filled with all... sorts of kitsch memoribilia hung on the walls, totally not sterile and corporate. The food is delicious unhealthy comfort food, not plant based soy junk. The highlight was the Faygo of the month. Most places may only carry the more generic varieties, whereas this place carries flavors that make hipster top 10 lists online. It's definitely a treat to have while in the area. Read more
This is definitely reheated TV dinner. The philly cheesesteak was a bad salt bomb the bread was dead. The fries taste like... nothing, season the tv dinner folks! Best thing worth buying is the reheated onion rings please let me know the brand and storeat the frozen section did you pick it up from so I can buy it myself and reheat at home. First and last. You don?t have to go to Detroit to enjoy a few of their local comfort foods, Detroit-Jewish style. It is a small family owned... restaurant nestled in the middle of a strip plaza that has plenty of parking. Owned and operated by mom and pop and daughterwho give it their all to make their customers happy. Their specialty is finger foods, like corn beef sandwiches (as in the bestyou?d ever had), thick dough square pizzas made your way, foot long hot dogs, the best beef barley soup ever made with theirspecially corned beef, monster burgers, and many more Americana delight we all know. I drive to Boynton Beach from FortLauderdale about every 6 weeks just for their piled high Reuben sandwich that just melts in your mouth. Read more

Great Detroit vibes! Friendly faces! Delicious food! Far from home & I thought I stepped into a Detroit local eatery ????
This restaurant is Amazing. The food is DELICIOUS. My son and I had lunch. OMG, the deep dish pizza is Delicious, fresh and... tasty. The pastrami sandwich is loaded with fresh thin slice pastrami. It's decorated and representative with Detroit sportteams. The service is great and friendly atmosphere. Our server Haley was fabulous. You definitely want to visit.????????? Read more
Southern Florida is seemingly entirely made up of people who are from somewhere else, so there are a large number of restaurants... whose theme is celebrating food from somewhere else in the US. Such is the case of Detroit Eats. Only stopped here for a quickbite for lunch so we just got a couple of dogs and an order of fries (which were topped with Detroit Eats' homemade chili andcheese sauce). While I found them tasty overall, I found the chili itself had a strange bitter flavor that I didn't expect. Thedogs were tasty but also frankly seemed like there was room for improvement. While I'm happy to report that they were made witha natural casing, they lacked the crisp snap often associated with that. The pastrami dog was slathered in a bit too much brownmustard, so much so that it seemed like it was a sauce instead of a condiment. Also, the pastrami was of the super lean varietywhich I found too chewy instead of tender. It was covered in an ample amount of chopped onions, which I liked. I wish I couldsay better about the reuben dog which was topped with sauerkraut, Russian dressing and Swiss. It was certainly better than thepastrami dog but still something seems like it too could have been improved. The service, however, was friendly, knowledgeableand helpful. We really couldn't have asked for better. Maybe next time we should try their specialty - Detroit Stylepizza. Overall, it was good enough that I want to go back and try some other dishes, but I still wish this first experience wasbetter - 3.5. Read more
The pizza here is really good! The person that waited on us said they have won awards for their pizza. It was perfect. I like... when the crust is deep like that. We each got a pizza and had a couple pieces left over to take home. Dining inside was prettyworth it. There's a lot of cool Detroit related things on the walls to look at. I would put this place on the top of the listfor pizza places in the area. Sometimes it's nice to know where to get a good deep dish pizza instead of just New York style allthe time Read more
