Reviews for Coriander in Boynton Beach, FL
We went to our favorite restaurant called Copenhagen. To our pleasant surprise the restaurant was sold and now is a high quality... Indian restaurant I ordered an Indian beer. It was really good and cold at21 oz. We shared a cheese and garlic nan we hadtwo ordered samosa two potatoes appetizer My grandson loves spicy food and asked for a 5* spice level he said that the food wasfantastic but not a 5*more like a2.5 they are afraid of the food being too spicy I had a special chicken with garlic and cheeseit was delicious and not spicy for people who hate spicy Indian food. There are some things left over from the lastreincarnation of the restaurant. Such as chicken Frances which sm my favorite at the Copenhagen ! I can assure you that you willlove this restaurant It is in a strip mall with parking galore and we ate outside and we were seated at a quiet tables Read more
From my own unsolicited opinion: This restaurant has beautiful, delicious food. The Amritsari Fish is texturally perfect. The... light batter gives a very satisfying bite into tender fish. It's aromatic, tasty and absolutely worth the try. The GobiManchurian is similarly wonderful: it's glaze is the perfect balance between deliciously sticky-sweet and hot hot spicy. Loveit. Whatever you get will definitely be worth the trip : ) Read more
Went on a Saturday night so service was only slighly slow. My wife and I had dirty martinis which were delicious but needed a... more generous pour. I had lamb mughal and the portions were substantial. Quality of the lamb was exceptional and delicious.Appetizers are excellent. Ambience in restaurant is excellent. Outside dining available. Very quiet so you can have a decentconversation as there were four of us. A step above most Indian restaurants in Palm Beach County. Staff and owner verycourteous. We are definitely going back. My husband found this place online, as he loves traditional Indian food. We went for lunch and I ordered the Tandoori Hurricane... Kebab. The waiter warned me it was spicy and I said it would be okay. When it arrived, it looked and smelled really good. When Itasted it, it was really delicious and it was spicy, but not overbearingly so. I'm used to eating traditional Jamaican jerk, sothis was bearable and tasty. I really enjoyed the food. I didn't order the Naan as it was a separate cost and this dish wasalready $18.00. The location was nice and the restaurant was clean. They spaced the diners out, so social distancing wasenforced. I tried the Masala Chai and probably will not order that again. It was different, just not my style. It tasted likemilk with Indian spices. I added 3 sugars and drank it hot. We will eat there again. Read more
My first time visit as referred by local friends that enjoyed Coriander. They were impressed by the great tasting food. When, I... walked thru the door, I heard others waiting for TO GO orders state how the food was delicious. I previewed the menu onlineand had a good idea of what I would like to sample. The estalishment clean and comfortable. The staff very pleasant andenergetic. My server was helpful and answered any questions to aid in my choices. I ordered two dishes....Fish tandoori(nosauce) and Alu Gobi (mild to medium spicy). The Alu Gobi (cauliflower/potato) absolutely delicious as good as other Indianrestaurants I have enjoyed...but the serving size was not a good value. The Fish tandoori served was a nice whole pompanofish....however, maybe I should have had the sauce to cover up the oil this fish was coated with and swimming in. I havefrequented many Indian restaurants upscale and hole in the wall places in Chicago, Washington,DC, Charlottesville Virginia andhere in South Florida. i will not list the competition(with respect to Coriander) in south florida , but in Lake Worth therestaurant has delicious cuisine and a much better value. I have included photos with review. Read more
Very good upscale Indian restaurant tucked in the very east end of the Shoppes at Village Square at Golf, Boynton Beach. We... visited on a Tuesday night, after discovered it in the GetUpSide app. The restaurant was not busy, but it took about fiveminutes to be acknowledged and seated by a staff who also brought us water after we sat. He was not friendly at all. And it tookanother eight minutes before we were greeted by our waitress, she has however very friendly and pleasant. The restaurant servesnot only the traditional Indian food, but also has an extensive rather up-scale non Indian offering such as Chicken Besciamella(Italian), Saumon à l’Oseille (Salmon, French) among many others. I found it kind of odd, but not to worry though, they stillexecute the Indian varieties very well. We had the Tandoori Chicken, and Egg Lamb Biryani. Both was very tasty and delicious, aromatic and full of flavors with more than enough Biryani to share for two people. The restaurant is a wonderful find and wewill definitely return. It is not cheap, with most entrees around $20 to over $30. But if you love authentic flavors that aredistinctively Indian, it'll be worth it. Would give it a five star, but perhaps the service would be better next time. Read more
We came at opening and the service was non existent. We only saw our server when we ordered and when food was brought to our... table. Later, when other people came, other servers helped them and they were much for friendly and welcoming to the otherpatrons. Our food was on the dry side and served cooled down. The naan was good! Overall, we did not enjoy our experience or ourfood. Read more
