I have my favourite breakfast choices and tend to stick to them but something told me to be a little adventurous today and it... did not disappoint! Now I love peameal bacon in my egg's Benedict but I passed it by this time and ordered the Southwest Benny. So tasty! I often pick out tomatoes on my burgers so this was a new one for me - this lovely salsa with guacamole hidden underthe perfectly poached egg and delicious hollandaise sauce was The Best. I also love home fries that aren't deep fried (it'sbreakfast, if I wanted fries deep fried in oil, I'd wait until dinner!) so these were bang on, the perfect accompaniment to myeggs benny. Coffee was hot and refills offered without having to get eye contact with a waitress to ask. You can tell a lotabout a restaurant by the smiles (or lack of) on the faces of staff.
