I?ve come here a few times over the years when visiting family in the area and was never that impressed. FAST FORWARD to this... year when we moved to Bowmanville and we decided to come back and try again because there are new owners (or management). I wasso impressed. The decor was the same, but the food tasted FRESH. The new menu items that I didn?t remember (crunchy mango roll)were fantastic. My 6 year old son said he was full and then stole half! We used to eat here quite often and get take out. Lately the quality has really dropped off and the food seems rushed. Eating... in, the food takes FOREVER while uber eats and skip the dishes orders just fly out the door. I understand the bulk of theirbusiness probably comes through these, but it would be nice to actually get good service while visiting as well. The serversseem annoyed to have customers to serve, and I felt like we were an inconvenience. I don't think I will be going back. It isgetting hard to find decent service at restaurants. Want here for all you can eat on Tuesday, the all you can eat menu has a lot of food that we normally order but due to change of... ownership now there less choices. We used to go to this place for years, and love it, but something changed lately. Seafood soup was our favourite, but over time... it became two times smaller, and four time less seafood. Last time all I could find there was fish and crab sticks. Before ithad squid, scallops, sprouts, some seaweed and some other stuff I do not remember. Very disappointing. Talk about "under promise and over deliver"! These guys over delivered on a couple of points. First, the food - I ordered... #112 Matsu Combo 3. I think every restaurant owner thinks their food is great. but the food we received was fantastic! Thesushi was fresh tasting and delicious. The fish was a good thickness (not translucent like a lot of other places), and the ricewas perfectly seasoned. The California maki had a good distribution of flavors. The second thing that impressed me very muchwas the service. When I ordered the food from my hotel, I was told it would take at least 45 minutes to be delivered, but itwas here in less than 20 minutes! I will definitely return to have more of this great food when I'm in the area again. Read more

We had two Sushi Combos delivered to our hotel room. Delivery was fast and the food was delicious! I enjoyed the salmon set,... while my husband enjoyed the Matsu Combo 3. The quality was good, and they didn't skimp on the fish. Decent thickness. I wouldtotally order from Mito Sushi next time we're in the area. Read more
