Well, today I stopped at IHOP on Scottsville Rd, Bowling Green, Ky, for late breakfast. Kym, my hostess and waitress, seated me... at a table. I asked her if sitting at that location would they forget me? Her reply was, "you have my undivided attention". Myprevious visits was just that, forgotten, took forever to be waited on and served your food. Ms. Kym was true to her words. Shewas a classy act and outstanding at her job! This was a perfect visit to IHOP, only due to Kym's compassion for her job andserving people! It shows in her service and attitude to each person that she serves. Management there needs to acknowledge Kymfor her outstanding service. I personally will say, Kym is the reason that I will continue to visit IHOP on Scottsville Rd,Bowling Green, KY. Had to wait a few minutes after entering to even be acknowledged since you have to wait to be seated. Even when a waitress... walked by not even saying anything like someone will be with you in a minute. It wasn't that busy at all? Coffee was good andfood, but proportions on small side. Read more
WORST IHOP EVER! My husband's over easy eggs were raw, my over medium were over easy, the sausage under cooked, the chicken too... cooked, had to marinate in syrup to choke down. The protein pancakes had funfetti sprinkles in them, never had our watersrefilled, I asked for sugar free syrup and got caught off before I could ask for an extra napkin only to have the server slamdown the syrup on the table and briskly walk away. We normally love IHOP. But this location was weird. It looked closed, they had the shades pulled down and signage turned off.... It was after sun down the parking lot was empty. But we tried to open the door to see for sure and they were actually open. There were no customers and no servers, but then a waitress emerged from the back and she said they were indeed open but theirsign didn't work. She seated us, my 10 year old started to cry because he just felt like it was creepy, like the beginning of abad dream. However, The food and service ended up being good, but it was really weird at the beginning. We never saw anotheremployee. I got the distinct impression that they didn't want any customers. The service was TERRIBLE! The waiter brought us our drinks and said he?d be ?right back? to take our order. 15 minutes later we... still hadn?t seen him, so flagged down another waitress who took our order. Still hadn?t seen him. There were only 3-4 tablesat the time. After taking our order, it was 25 minutes before it was brought out?.COLD. It was ridiculous. A couple that came inwith us walked out after 30 minutes with no menus and servers walked right by them multiple times. Absolutely will never beback. I understand why IHOP is struggling. Read more
Seating was fast and the food was fresh and hot. The servers were great and very attentive to our needs.
Went Thanksgiving day, only 2 servers and they were so busy. Still was greeted, sat and served within reasonable time frame. Our... server was friendly and seemed happy to be there all things considering, our food was as better than the ihops around us haspreviously been, definitely will be back!
