We made a quick trip through Bowling Green and wanted a casual place to grab a bite. Wow! Delicious! I had the Grilled Pimento... Cheese sandwich which had bacon and strawberry preserves. Great flavor combo with homemade pimento cheese. I had Mac and cheeseas my side ( yea, cheese and more cheese ??) it was creamy and tasty. It was burger night which gives you a choice of 4 gourmetburgers. My friend had the KY Winter burger which had pimento cheese, fried pickles and sweet chili sauce. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Bowling Green. It blows away all of the chain restaurants in town. Not only can you get... the usual kind of food like burgers and pizza. But they always have something different on the menu that you can?t find at otherplaces. Read more
In the past I've stopped by their neighbor to get pizza and Home Cafe was always closed, but today I made sure I was going... during regular business hours and what a treat! Everything on the menu looked great I had trouble choosing. I ordered themushroom and artichoke pizza and wasn't disappointed. I had a side of pasta salad just to try it and it was simple andflavorful. Fast casual dining, mood lit eating area, great quick service, it's no wonder why they were booming on a Sunday anhour before close. I'll be back. #268. Read more
