Reviews for Griffs Deli in Bowling Green, KY
First time here, it was OK. Has very busy times and have to wait for food a while. Not too salty, but still a lot of processed... deli meat. Customer service a bit pivish. May return not sure. Looks like a regular for the regulars. Read more
I really like Griffs food, in the daytime. This is the 2nd time I have been at dinner hours and they are out of potatoes and... sides. Also the evening staff is rude. They don't acknowledge customers. I have been standing at tge counter for 5 minutes andthe 3 women are blatantly ignoring me. A girl from the kitchen came out and helped me. Then when I complained that nobody wouldacknowledge me until she did. The 2 girls at the front threw my food in a bad and still would not speak to me. Horrible frontcounter employees. Thank you to the lady in the back. Read more
Consistently great food! I always get a half sandwich and half spud and it's more than enough to fill me up. Always friendly... staff! Read more
Griff?s is honestly one of my favorite sandwich shops and even though I moved away from BG a couple years back, I stop at this... restaurant every time I make a trip out there. Everything I?ve had there is really good, especially their chicken salad, butNOTHING beats their veggie panini for me. I bought a panini maker because of this sandwich. I have dreams about this sandwich.Every time I got something else on the menu, I would order this sandwich as well because I knew I would regret not getting it.Last time I was there I couldn?t keep myself from devouring half of the sandwich cut before I remembered to take a picture for areview. If I wasn?t 1,612 miles away from this place, I?d be having this sandwich right now. God I love this sandwich. 5/5stars. Their chips are also good too. Read more
Griff?s is truly one of those gems that you have to tell everyone about. It?s always clean, the food quality is consistently... good, the food never takes too long even when busy, and the service truly is top tier. The employees here genuinely seem toenjoy their jobs, and that makes me as a customer feel great about going there. Recommendation: The chicken chipotle panini ismy absolute favorite and pairing that with the potato salad makes for an amazing meal. Read more
Friends said let's meet at Griffs for lunch. I didn't realize it was a Deli. Glad I didn't know, dell's aren't always my... favorite. I would have missed a great meal. I had a beef pannini and a puppy seed salad. It was dinner time and the place wasbusy. Price was reasonable, equipment to a fast food meal but so much better. Read more
I wouldn't typically be so hard on a place as to give it 2 stars, but only the presentation of the restaurant is reasonable. We... ordered 2 sandwich meals and a kids hot ham and cheese, which came in at $32 for what amounts to maybe $4 of food deli food thatdefinitely didn't seem entirely fresh. One of the sandwiches was made incorrectly, the roasted chicken was extremely dry, mysandwich (the susie-q) had a pungent taste that I couldn't identify (I'm aware there are green apples on it), and my wifelaughed at the lettuce wrap due to the amount of excess that there was. While their sandwich selection is reasonable, theexecution is such that I couldn't recommend someone eat there, and I likely wouldn't eat the sandwich if it were free justbecause it isn't something I really want to ingest again. There are other delis nearby that are significantly better tasting, with more options, nicer staff, fresher food, and for just a little more than half the price (when factoring in kids mealdiscounts at the other location).
