Still a local favorite for good Mexican food. Generous portions and a good bar pour. Def get guacamole and queso along with... your salsa for the complimentary tortilla chips. My son's favorite place. Read more

Best Mexican in Bowling Green? Was not expecting this place to be so great. It's a notch above most Mexican restaurants to... you're probably used to. Had a pineapple margarita and Shrimp Vallarta which was like a Mexican Shrimp Risotto with a creamywine sauce and poblano peppers served in a grilled tortilla like a bowl you could tear and sop up the sauce with. Friends hadfajitas that were great too. Was really impressed and will be back. Read more

Stopped here on a trip thanks to all the positive reviews. Did not disappoint! The queso was delicious and I loved my shrimp... cancun enchiladas. Everything was hot and delicious including the rice and beans. The service was top notch as well! Read more

Garcia?s always goes above the average Mexican faire. Fresh and delicious salsa, a great menu with so many delicious options.... Even the sides (beans and rice) were better than most! In a town filled with restaurants, this one is a great choice! Read more

Absolutely horrible service. The waiters will completely ignore you. While I understand staffing can be difficult that?s on the... company to pay a thriving wage to attract talent. Once you can actually get your waiter?s attention they will have an attitudeinstead of apologizing. It?s a shame the service is so bad because the food is great. Read more

Garcias has become a tex-mex style restaurant catering mostly toward Americans, the menu is small and only offers main courses... with no lunch menu or Ala cart selections. Prices are comparable to other local restaurants but the portions are tiny incomparison. I was suspicious about how the meal portions would be as soon as I noticed the unusually thin tortilla chips thatare served (think of lays potato chips). My suspicion was correct as when I recieved the Acapulco chicken, what I was servedwas one half of chicken breast that had been sliced in half itself (1/4 chicken breast) topped with a sweet fruity style salsa, about 1/2 cup rice, and about 1/4 cup of Julien sliced zucchini squash, this reminded me of some of the meals that are usuallyfound on the "lite menu" at typical restaurants. The restaurant is clean and staff is good and attentive with focus oncustomers but the portion size is what killed the meal. Will most likely not return, there are many other choices locally thatoffer more choices and more food for the same price and you can normally leave with a to go box for a second meal. Read more

Oh my goodness. I love this place. Very small menu with makes for delicious food. Chips are thin and crispy and the salsa has... a very nice spicy bite. The pork enchiladas with poblano sauce are so scumptous. Gary got the blackened grouper tacos which hesaid were great. Now, Scott Bradford, I HAD to TRY the "small" blood orange margarita and it was not only yummy but may havemade me a tad bit tipsy. Thank goodness I am not driving. But the best part was our wonderful server, Eduardo, aka Lalo. Thank you Lalo for such great service and for being so friendly. Read more
