Came with a big group so service was slow, took about half an hour just to order, but drinks came out fast. Very very good,... wouldn't expect real Mexican/Tex-Mex in Kentucky, but this was it! Stopped by for the first time on 9/13 with the wife for lunch and both of us were impressed with the decor and friendly staff.... The food was amazing. By far the best Mexican food. Just wish you were closer to Lafayette Tn. Well worth the trip to visitagain. Read more

Terrible terrible terrible. I went to lunch with my 2 best friends. One asked for chicken lettuce wraps. They brought her... shrimp. She?s highly allergic to shrimp. The alcoholic beverages we ordered was not made correctly. When we finally got ourorders they were made incorrectly. The chicken lettuce wraps finally came and it was loaded with jalapeños. Excellent Mexican style food with a really comfortable atmosphere. The staff is fluent in English, very friendly, alert &... attentive. The servers arrive at your table promptly, soon taking your order, serving up drinks, salsa & chips. I love theattention to detail with the internal decor; it adds more to the experience. Your food will arrive quickly after placing yourorder even when they are in a rush. The servers make sure everyone has everything they need. The building is well maintained,kept clean, the floor is kept clean, the restroom is clean there were not any objectional odors noted. When the servers are nothelping customers they are wiping down & sanitizing everything, the tables, counters and so forth. The prices are reasonable forthis type of dining. If you like Mexican style food and GREAT SERVICE this is a RECOMMENDED place to eat. ???? Read more

As a solo female diner with a knee brace I was delighted to sit at the bar on a nice, comfy bar stool and enjoy complimentary... chips & salsa plus the $1.50 draft special suggested by the lovely barmaid, Mariana. Choosing from the massive menu was no easytask because everything sounded so enticing. Settled on the mushroom quesadilla which was perfectly chargrilled (and SOdelicious!) as was the amazing grilled zucchini (side) -- and the yummy a la carte tomatillo sauce is most definitely worth$1.25! El Mazatlan #2 is also most definitely a winner & anyone who says otherwise probably thinks Taco Bell is haute cuisine!???????????????????????????? UPDATE: on a subsequent visit my server, Aida, was equally lovely and the food was equally good!And Maria behind the bar is also terrific! ???? UPDATE: 500 more stars!
