"4" shrimp were $13 undisclosed, I was charged for 2 sodas only had 1 and 1 refill I never asked for and 1 water.($.50 wings... were supposedly larger than average "definitely not") unfortunately the owner was the only employee besides cook and she wasdealing with what should have been personal issues (relationship) dealt with on personal time not infront of customers with ahuge scene and uncomfortable environment. Definitely will never return. Needs a good cleaning and face lift. Inventory waslimited. All around unsatisfied. Definitely do not recommend under any circumstances. Read more
The food was excellent, I had the prime rib sandwich and my husband had the mighty big Mac sandwich, both was fantastic. Huge... sandwiches definitely got your money's worth of food. Service was great. My husband had his heart set on the gumbo but theychanged the Cajun food from Monday to Fridays and before we left the chef come over to our table and asking how everything wasand my husband said it was great but had his heart set on the gumbo the chef said hold on he went back t the kitchen and 10minlater came back to our table and gave my husband the gumbo and rice that he was craving, how nice was that. We were here for Farmers Day and spent quite a bit of time here listening to their entertainment and enjoying their food. They... really do a good job promoting Bovey, and bringing people together. We really liked their food too, best sweet potato fries andpatty melt I've had. Read more
Had dinner there and it was great. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and a side salad. All was delicious. 2... others had the smoked ribs which are smoked on-site and 1 other person had the shrimp skewers. Everyone was happy with the foodand portions are good. Nice outdoor dining area with a waterfall. I definitely recommend and will be back. Read more
We traveled all the way from the cities and it was worth it! The food was incredible. Try the rice pilaf or fettuccine alfredo.... The atmosphere feels comfortable like you're at home but more fun. Staff was impeccable, attentive, kind. Love this place! Read more
An absolute must stop if you?re staying in Grand Rapids or coming through town. Owner Kat makes you feel like you are right at... home as well as amazing bartenders. Quick service, great drinks and amazing food. 100% a place to check out and enjoy. Farm totable dining like no other. Read more
Not quite sure what was up on Saturday May 21st. In the past we have had good service here but sadly, that was not the case... tonight & it really turned us away from ever wanting to return. We got there around 4:45 & there was only 3 other tables withpeople at them so we thought, awesome, we beat the rush. First, it took our server quite a few minutes to come over by us totake our drink order. We ordered an appetizer platter to begin with & that took about 45 minutes to come out, which is not goodwith a hungry toddler. In the meantime, our server came by to take our main order. By now, tables started to fill, they startedgetting their food before us, & our server was no where to be found. Finally my husband?s deluxe pizza came out. The vegetableson it were still pretty hard, there was no Italian sausage, & the dang thing wasn?t even cut. My daughter & I waited another 20minutes for our food to be delivered. The food was warm at best & mine was missing it?s chicken breast. After we finishedeating, we sat there for another 15 minutes waiting for our server (who never came to check on us) to come back so we could geta to go box & cash us out. Around 7 (over 2 hours since we arrived) we got sick of waiting so my husband grabbed one himself &we paid at the bar. The only plus side is that the server comped part of our order so it wasn?t a total bust but the kitchen &servers definitely need to get something figured out. Read more
My husband and I have been here a few times now and I can honestly say it's one of our favorites!! Staff is friendly, atmosphere... is nice and everything we've had has been amazing! Just to mention a few of our favorites; deep fried ravioli with homemademarinara (also try the smoked gouda cheese sauce, so good!) The burgers and sandwiches are all great, nice portions and verytasty. My favorite is the shrimp! Oh my goodness, the best I've had in a restaurant for many years!!! Kat is always friendlyand welcoming and makes you feel like a long lost friend. We met Chef Baron the last time we visited and thought he was a greatguy! 100% recommend!! Read more
