Attended a 75th birthday private party and it was first class all the way. Appetizers placed on every table were incredible, the... wine was provided by our host. The choices for our entree ranged from great to "are you kidding me?" I only wish we livedcloser, so we could sample several other magnificent dishes that everyone was raving about. We had my daughter's bridal shower at Girasole last weekend. It was outstanding! Our host, Pino, and staff were friendly,... helpful, and attentive. The day ran smoothly without a hitch! Our guests were raving about the food and how much of it therewas. (We chose Option A from the Lunch Party Packages.) Nobody left hungry, that's for sure! As a former Bound Brook resident, years ago, I used to really enjoy eating here. Even celebrated my engagement with my now... husband at this place, 18 years ago. We were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch and I can honestly say that is wasjust as great a restaurant as it was two decades ago. We absolutely loved it! Read more
BYOB with impeccable service! From the crab and shrimp roll appetizer to the chocolate mousse dessert, the food was delicious!... We also had the salmon and shrimp ravioli entrees, which were specials of the day. You can't go wrong with Girasole...a definitemust if you are in the area. Read more
This was one of my wife and I favorite restaurants back about 6,7 years ago. We travel a lot, and you know how it goes...... trying other places, putney things. Fast forward... tasty is my birthday. My wife asks me if I want to go out to eat, andGirasole was one of the choices!! I jumped at it, you know, like an old favorite memory that somebody reminding you oflike..."Oh yeah!!" When we get there it was going back 6,7 years to when we used to hit them at least once a month! And the foodwas just as great today as it was then! And like then, my wife got a dish that shocked me. And that ain't easy!! I got thefilet, she had chicken rolotini. Both specials both delicious! Their menu is very specialized. Chicken, veal, lamb, shrimp, afish. Various dishes of each. Our server was absolutely excellent and very attentive to detail. They have a fairly large menu and many specials. We got the... veal and butternut squash ravioli in cream sauce. The portions are pretty small but the food is rich so it did not leave uswanting more. The dining room is quaint but they have outdoor seating as well. Overall a quality italian restaurant. Read more
