Our first visit here. The hostess and waitress provided great service. We ordered chicken, pulled pork, cowboy beans, sweet... fries, and cornbread. The cornbread was great. We both thought the beans were bland. And we both thought the chicken was underseasoned. Total was $41.20 for 2 adults (no alcohol or appetizers). They charge 3.0% if you don't use cash. ???? Tri Tip sandwich ($14, I think) was amazing! Cornbread was recommended by the waitress, it did not disappoint. Only negative:... the kids meal (chicken tenders) is on the same size plate that an adult meal is served on. You'd think the adult meal would bebigger (or smaller portions and prices needed for kids meals.) Read more
If you're near the Hoover Dam this is the spot for lunch! Tasty food and good prices . Drinks were strong and tasty There's... also a bar and takeout area but we sat in the large dining room. Got the blackened salmon with mashed potatoes ( no gravy,specify that) and a biscuit. Get the cornbread though because that's better than the large biscuit in my opinion. Today me and my husband stopped by for the first time. Our waiter who was a guy took our order very nice. I ordered the ribeye... steak. I told him med well. When I got my meal the steak was well done didn't even eat it!! Also had to get mashed potatoesbecause veggies to hard! I told the guy and his response was well you ordered med well!! Didn't ask me if I wanted somethingelse? Or what he could do to make it better! Just said here's the bill!! Saw my plate was full and took away!! Wow!!! Badservice!! This place if FAB. Service was great during lunchtime and food was outstanding. The Porky was delicious, tender juicy pork... sandwich topped with coleslaw, pickles, and pepperoncini. I choose a side of mac n cheese that was out of this world delicious.(better than my own cooking). The Brisket sandwich had the right amount of spice on Texas toast topped with tasty coleslaw. Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - the food looks very impressive when served and tasted great on the first bite but lacked layers. The... Cowboy Cheese Fries had some of the cowboy beans on it which added a bit of sweetness with some cheese on top. We wished therewas some more savoriness or acidity to make you want the food more but was "bored" after a quarter of the plate. The Rib Tipsvaried on the piece with some being extremely juicy and others extremely tough where we had difficulties even with a knife. Therub or spices made me think of chicharron or Chinese crispy pork belly with flavors of five spice. You must try the saucethough!! The regular has a sweetness to offset the acidity and the spicy has a tiny kick at the end that makes you want anotherbite. Ambience: 5/5 - cozy restaurant with holiday decoration. Great experience! Friendly customer service. Our server, Ryan, was informative and kind. The food was delicious! I got Burnt... Ends, Tri-Tip, and Mac and Cheese. The Mac and Cheese was peppery and their Corn Bread isn’t served hot, but it tastesdelicious and sweet! I also got Texas Toast. It’s not that crispy and it’s really fluffy. I’d come back here. ??
