La Mariposa is a great place for having dinner. They have several vegetarian options (two burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and some... appetizers) and some gluten free options. We had the spinach enchiladas, the veggie burrito and the elotes as an appetizer.Everything here is delicious and tasty but a little bit greasy. And if you like margarita they have ALL of them. We went to the boulder taco festival and tried the birria taco . . . And they were amazing! We ended up coming to the... restaurant and getting the whole meal. Their Mexican rice is super bomb!!! My kid is pretty picky and she loved all of it! Thespicy cucumber margarita is fire too! ???? Service is a little slow. And I do feel they are a little over priced on somethings. The good: really friendly staff, and the molcajete ranchero was really tasty (the steak was a little overdone) and fed two... people (with an extra side order of Mexican rice). The less than great: we were seated in a booth that had salt all over oneseat, the floor underneath was greasy, and the menus were sticky/had a tacky feeling to them, like they’d been wiped with adirty rag.
