Meat plate wasn?t much of a meat plate. It was more of a carb plate. Had rice, hummus (yes, this is a carb), and some pita or... whatever you call it. I got fries because I?m very Greek so ya that?s 4 carbs and a spit of meat. I need more protein guys. Foodwas alright. Not amazing. Meat plate was about double the cost it needed to be. Kalita Grill was very clean inside and the staff were nice and helpful. I picked up my order and headed back to work. The food... was okay, but I?ve definitely had better Greek food. The falafel was pretty hard compared to what I have had in the past and I?mnot sure if it?s a different way of cooking it but I?m used to it being softer on the inside and the outside seemed a bit overcooked. I ate it anyway because it?s what I had for lunch, but I probably won?t be going back. It may be because I?m new toBoulder but it was pretty pricey. The veggie combo plate was amazing! The salad was very fresh and crisp, the falafels were crispy and soft, the babaganoush and... hummus were soo creamy and fresh! The pita bread was cold, but it was soo soft. The baklava was amazing, with all the sugarsyrup and nuts. What amazed me was how fresh the ingredients were, this is a must in any restaurant. The portion size is wellworth the price. This will become my go to! Read more
So unbelievably tasty. The hummus is so good, the pitas are fluffy clouds and the shawarma seasoned to perfection. Great... selection of cold nonalcoholic beverages. Amazing food in an unassuming mall. We shared the chicken gyros, lamb shawarma and lamb souvlaki, and each dish was better than... the other - the lamb was cooked and marinated to perfection. And don?t forget to try the Kalita fries - absolutely delicious!Will be back and back! Read more
I live in Chicago so it's hard to compete with the food I get out there. Visiting a buddy who recommended Kalita. I was pleased... to see my gyro plate came with a bowl of soup and also pita bread and hummus. The gyro meat was very good, and the hummus wastoo! Definitely made with love.
