Everything we ate was fresh and really good. The conveyor belt was super fun. Service was interesting as you don't really have a... waiter and the people there you had to flag down but all in all I would definitely go again. It was a fun experience! Read more
I came here with my husband and 4 kids. We were charged an automatic 20% gratuity since we were considered to be 5 or more... people. 2 of my kids are babies, who do not eat solids, one was in a car seat sleeping. I talked to the manager about how sillyit is that she counted them, and she refused to adjust. We are usually great tippers, but the fact that they pulled this isextremely annoying. The sushi was ok, but the overall experience was tainted by the lack of service from anybody. It was clear that they focused... more on the visual appeal of the interior, more than anything else. Never asked if I needed anything and they rely on a tabletto take all orders from what I can tell. My coworker waited about 10 minutes before he walked out. I decided to stay and order 3rolls which only consist of 4 pieces each. The pricing seemed relatively fair, comparable to a belt, but be aware **THIS IS NOTA SUSHI BELT** The approach here is that each row of booths sits parallel with a rail that a case drives on containing yourmeal. My order arrived about 12 minutes after ordering, not great timing but not too bad. Unfortunately however, the railcarried my meal over to the other seat in the booth, missing me. I then got up, sat on the other side (only took about 4 secondstotal) and before I even lifted the cover, my sushi was sent back to the kitchen. It came back 30 seconds later, this time mebeing able to actually grab it but once again leaving in as little as 5 seconds. Being that it was 3 separate plates, this couldbe difficult if you'd ordered for 2 or more... The biggest thing to me, the main determining factor in any sushi restaurant:Temperature. I had ordered 1 roll that had eel. Eel typically comes warm after light searing. My other rolls should have beencold as they were raw ingredients only. They were room temperature as well. To me, this means that behind the wall there is verylittle refrigeration going on and it instantly turned me away from ever eating here again. I even tipped my "waiter" like anidiot for literally doing nothing but set a cup of water down. ***UPDATE - I ordered the shrimp & vegetable tempura today. Terrible the shrimp was not cooked, the broccoli was burnt, the... zucchini was soggy and the carrots were hard. (See last picture). Very disappointed the owner?s daughter was very rude & didn?tdo anything about it. She said she would tell the cook. Very bad business!! 8/25/2022 First time here. Makes it really easy to start small and order more. Portions and prices arereasonable, but the quality of the food does not suffer.
