I went here recently for a friend's birthday celebration and absolutely loved it!! There are so many amazing menu options to... choose from. I decided on some classic Southern choices: fried chicken, and creamy buttered biscuits. The food was delicious,very flavorful and it almost melted in my mouth. Great portion sizes as well, tons of dishes are good for sharing which makesthe dining experience even more fun! Also ambiance & decor is stunning and gracefully done. Very Southern inspired, withgorgeous attention to detail. I highly recommend Southern Proper & I'll definitely be back soon to try more of them menu items Ihad my eye on :) Read more
Southern Proper is a delightful restaurant in many ways. The atmosphere is amazing, very cozy, dimly lot, great for a date. The... food is amazing! Southern Proper is always an awesome experience. Very attentive staff, great food, and a fun/cozy dining experience. They have a... big menu that's always updated with new and delicious options to try. Recently tried their apple pie dessert and it was probablythe best apple pie I've ever tasted, super fresh and flavorful. Extremely great location as well, it has a nice outdoor patiothat is perfect when it's warmer out! Overall they have tons of great options for brunch, lunch, and dinner, it's verydiversified which I like. Read more
Super delicious & flavorful!! The fried chicken and popovers with pigment cheese were my favorite items. They have a huge bar... and impressive wine list as well. I will be back again soon. It's perfect for brunching and I can't wait to do outdoor brunchinghere when it gets warmer out. Read more
I tried this restaurant randomly when I was walking through South End last weekend and I’m so glad I did. Amazing ambiance and... atmosphere, delicious southern comfort food. Friendly servers. Southern Proper is a home run and exactly what the South Endneeded. It’s a must try, one of my favorite new spots for brunch. Also it has the best fried chicken in town in my opinion ;).Do yourself a favor and try this place soon. So yummy!! Read more
