This place makes some awesome popovers. I tried cheese and cinnamon sugar popovers and both were excellent. Will go again.
My co-worker had been talking about this place for a few weeks and every time I walked by it certainly looked good. Today, I... finally did stop by. The door read 6am opening, yet when I when I went by the door promptly said closed (7:30am). Assuming theywere probably prepping or whatever came back 15 min later and they were open. I got the Sir John Popover and it was fantastic.A chocolate lovers delight. One thing to be aware of, if you are in a rush do not order a popover from here. They make toorder it seems and should alot at least 10-15min wait time. There is an order online so if you are in a rush i suggest takingadvantage of this service. Because of our love of popovers, my husband and I made a special trip to Boston to try out this new cafe, and it was well worth... it! The popovers are the best I ever had!!! And there are many fillings to choose from along with several coffees. The staffis welcoming and sincere about pleasing their customers. Stop by for breakfast or lunch and you'll be glad you did! I Went here March 15th to the soft opening and I was very Satisfied. I had a lobster popover that was to die for and my friend... had the Lox popover which i also had some and it was better than another type of Lox I have had. They have a few coffeeselections and actually it was really really good and not super expensive. The staff actually care if you are enjoying thefood and want to make sure you enjoy the food and drink. Very cool place cant wait to go back. I will be a regular for sure. Read more
