I've had this restaurant in my list of places to visit. OMG, I regret not going sooner. Went with family for brunch. The food... superb. Well seasoned, good sizes. Absolutely love Moonshine 152. Everything has so much flavor. Our party of two ordered several items to share. We started with... the Bria Tacos and Jalapeno Crab Rangoons. Both were so good. I especially loved the sauce for the rangoons, which is quitedifferent from any I’ve had before. It’s tangy and has some spice to it. My main course was the burger, which was toppedwith blue cheese, fritos, and served with a side of delicious fries. I highly recommend ordering the Summer Berry JamboreeBelgian Waffle Ice Cream Sundae. That waffle under the ice cream is to die for. I still dream about that sundae! Terribleparking in the area. I suggest walking or taking public transportation. I made the mistake of driving and it took be some timeto find a spot and not very close. Read more
We were really pleased with our experience here. The food was tasty, the service was excellent (friendly, speedy, approachable),... and we always love to support small local restaurants - especially women of color owned!! Chef Asia was really sweet andfriendly. She came out to check in on us and make sure we were enjoying. The rib meat just fell off the bone and had a reallynice spiciness to it that I loved. The kale Caesar was so garlicky and delicious. I (very uncharacteristically) got a burger andwas happily surprised because it was very fresh and the bun was well toasted - all around good. The chicken nuggies were wellbreaded and real chicken instead of ground who-knows-what’s-in-there. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and it’s all been unique and incredible! The chicken wings, beet dip, party tots,... and poke bowl are consistent favorites, and the Cajun grilled fish is one of those dishes that set a new bar for fish for me!The drinks are bright and fun, and the desserts are as creative and delicious as the rest of the menu. The atmosphere andservice is warm, friendly, and upbeat. The food is amazing enough for a special occasion, but the vibe is relaxed enough to justpop in impromptu. Get the chicken wings. Don't question it. Just get them. Order a large. The meat literally fell off the bone. Some of the best... chicken wings I've had. The quality was top notch. The experience was very nice. I was a few minutes late for the reservation Imade, but they still made it work. (Thank you!!) Our waitress was patient and accommodating to my friend's modifications. Myfriends had the Moonshine burger (she loved it), the Thai Duck noodles (kale was a nice touch - crispy), and the chickentenders. The chef/owner brought us our food. I love this restaurant. Second time dining in and it was just as good as the first. Obsessed with the beet dip, it is easily the... best item on the menu that I’ve tried!
