The soups and salads are yummy, nice wide selection of options, and staff is really nice. However PLEASE TURN YOUR MUSIC DOWN! I... shouldn't have to scream my order and have to ask staff to repeat what they said multiple times. It's honestly stressful sittinghere to eat. This is my first Hale and Hearty experience. With large portions for the soup and salad combo, it seems that this is the most... affordable, aka "bang for your buck". I had the Avacado Green Goddess and the New England Clam Chowder. The chowder comes withcrackers or bread. The salad comes with bread. Read more

What do you expect when you go to a soup and salad place for a salad? Crisp, fresh greens to start with. This is not at all what... I got! Honestly. The choices for salad toppings were ok but the greens were yellow and wilted and soggy in some cases. Thecucumbers that come with it were so transparent and limp like they'd been sitting in water for days. Edamame and asparagus we sosmall you couldn't taste them, when you could find them. I could go on and on but you get my drift. This was the worst saladI've ever had! And for the price!....If I'd eaten in, I'd have returned it immediately and left. So disappointing!! The soupvarieties looked very good. So good in fact I couldn't decided. But now I'm hesitant to go back and try them in case they arejust as bad as the salads. Read more

I had a salad and New England Clam Chowder. The soup was great and the salad was just a basic salad... I gave 3 stars because... it was pretty expensive for a salad and cup of soup coming in at $14 without adding any premium salad toppings. Read more
The soup is pretty good, although the prices are a little ridiculous. I'm not sure where they come up with some of these numbers... but getting broccoli cheddar and paying the same price for a seafood soup seems a little weird. Soup Factory in Newton still hasthem beat on the flavor department but you have to admire the variety they have. Some soups are clearly far superior thanothers. I got one the other day and unfortunately didn't taste it first and ended up having to add a little salt to it(something I never do!) because it was so bland. The sandwiches are really lacking - very very dry. I've yet to try and saladsbecause the line is always out the door, but based on soups this is still a solid choice. Read more
I ordered 3 medium soups using DoorDash from Hale and Hearty. They made us wait an hour for our order and then cancel it. Why... not call us and tell us they wouldn?t be fulfilling our order instead of having us wait an hour? Like how could it take you anhour to determine you can?t fulfill an order... i?ve been going to hale and hearty for maybe 7-8 years in NYC and have seen theprocess of them scooping soup into cup. It doesn?t take more than a few minutes... i?ll pass on order from this establishmentagain. Hopefully I?ll find a better hale and hearty to spend my money on. Read more
