My wife and I came here on a Friday after work. They had tables and 3 people at the front, but we sat around and waited for a... while. No one came by so we flagged down a waiter walking by. He said he'll grab our waiter. Our waiter was actually superfriendly. He said however they were short staffed that day so the wait was longer and some items were not available on the menufor that reason. We settled for the Jambalaya and a Caesar salad with catfish. Everyone was pitching in with getting waterfilled and bringing out food which was nice to see. The jambalaya was very dry. The taste was there and had a bit of kick toit but it was like fried rice consistency. We thought the pepper on top was ornamental but nope! It was actually really spicy. Had some shrimp and sausages in there. The salad was a romaine wedge. I liked it... Something a bit different and thedressing was thick and sitting on top. The fried catfish was a decent portion. We were in a bit of a rush so we grabbed onethe guys working in front to get the check but he was useless...he said "I can't but you can ask your waiter.". For dinner we ordered etouffee and jambalaya- the etouffee was hands down the better dish. Get it with catfish and shrimp. We... also got calamari and beignet, but we thought those were fine. Even though the food was great, even better was the service.Staff was SUPER nice and helpful with recommendations!!
