We went to Filippo based on the reviews alone. The waiter was aggressive and asked if we had a reservation even when the... restaurant was empty. Perhaps he wanted to give the Italian experience. For an hour every customers walked in was asked if theyhave a reservation and they should reserve before showing up. 6 table was filled and no reservation and still the restaurant isnot on a full capacity. The food, mainly Pasta, was hoping for risotto but my fault not reading the menu before hand and whenasked the waiter he said no risotto everything we have is on the menu !! Had a shrimp. Excellent dishes. The homemade pasta was perfect and the sauce very tasty. I had the Braciolettine Calabrese and it was... absolutely wonderful and very flavorful. The picture shows a closeup with one end cut off and the cheese oozing out of themiddle. I've never had anything quite like it before and highly recommend the dish. Filippo?s is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I?ve ?ever been to in my life?. The food and service is absolutely... amazing! I had the pleasure of meeting Christian (you must ask to meet him) and I must tell you, he takes so much pride in hisjob and making sure your experience is memorable. My boyfriend and I decided to give this little place a try after reading a single Google review. This restaurant is an absolute... gem. The food was hot and fresh, the service was impeccable even though there was not a single empty seat. Our waiter,Cristiano, was incredible. He was very attentive and had suggestions for every course. The food here is phenomenal but it isn?t the only thing that?s great. The service, atmosphere, location. All of it was... wonderful! The staff is so unbelievably friendly and quick. They made us feel like family. Everyone was very welcoming and Ijust can?t say enough good things about this restaurant. It felt like I was back in Italy with how good the quality of the foodwas.
