Appeared on a list of "Best Places to Watch the Game", but as a... crucial NBA semi-final was about to tip-off at TD Garden, Star Wars was on the TVs here. This place slapped! The beer was great but not as many IPAs as I normally like (all preference! The selection was stellar) but... that shouldn?t deter you! Branching out and trying something new only elevated the experience! The food was out of this worldtoo! Literally one of the best wraps I?ve ever had and my partner?s salad was so refreshing! Democracy checks all the boxes you'd want it to. Convenient location to drop in for a break from city exploring. Big open... floorplan. Clean. Good beer with a tight but well rounded selection. Had a Maibock and an IPA and both were pleasant. I didn'teat but the folks next to me got the wings, and the aroma almost convinced me to follow suit. Service was excellent. Music wason point. Great beers and a cool menu. Definitely upscale bar fare. Bartender was super nice and helped us pick beers to try. The bar is a... really cool atmosphere and design. Would definitely recommend for both food and drinks. They played good music in the room aswell. Read more
Great food, good vibes, and good service. The food and the beer were both good, too. It's right in the center of downtown... Boston, so if you are looking for a place to treat yourself, this place is a good choice. They also have crawlers of beer to-gothat are cheaper if you are just looking to sample their homemade brews. Came on a Saturday about 5:15 for dinner and drinks. Was expecting it to be packed on an Indian Summer Day in Boston but we got... a table right away. The beers were delicious and the Steak Frites (one of my fave meals ever) was probably the best I ever had.It was AMAZING and a steal at $20. I can't wait to come back! Thanks for a great time!
