I met a couple of coworkers here at the corner pub. I believe the Bartender's name was Mike. Thanks Mike for making me feel... welcomed. Update 8.17.22 I've come back to the Corner Pub quite often now. Mostly to see my new friend Fran the pink flamingo. Their food... is delicious and service great. Their steak sandwich and grilled cheese are amazing and try all their eggrolls. Pam and Mattthe owners have been so kind to me and my family during this difficult time. They also generously provided lunch and dinner tothe nurses and doctors taking care of my husband at Tufts CSICU. Stop by and check it out, especially if you are coming intothe city by commuter rail. You are steps away from South Station.. and "there's always another train" I'm staying in Bostonwhile my husband is in the hospital. I wandered in one evening because the sign on the door caught my attention. The rest of thesigns decorations make me smile. The bartender/server was so good on a Monday night, Mike I believe his name was, I thought heowned the place. Food was great and service too. I've been back two more times and met the owner Pam. Love this place. A real hometown Boston experience. Watched the Pats game, drank a few beers from an interesting ale menu,... shared a great burger and felt like I had been never not been there. Good time. Read more
