Visited 1855 twice during our trip to North East and Boston. Really enjoyed this wine bar on Newbury street - great atmosphere,... big selection of wine and everything we ordered was really tasty. Our sommelier and server both times, Mathieu, was amazing! Ifyou happen to be at 1855 when Mathieu is in, you are lucky! Knowledgeable, respectful and extremely nice, he definitely know howto make your evening even better. And what can be better than a French place with a French sommelier with the most adorableaccent?
