I feel so sad. I?ve NEVER written a bad review of a restaurant, but this was just not ok. I?d hoped to thank a friend tonight by... offering a nice dinner. This is my neighborhood place, where I?ve eaten before. Tonight the ?pork fried rice? was tasteless dryrice with ONLY very sparse little chunks of dry pork, and nothing else. The ?boneless spare ribs? were the same thin strips ofvery dry, tasteless pork. When I came back (with food in hand) to ask why this had happened, the only response was, ?No one elsehas complained. I was cursed out in Mandarian by an older male delivery driver because I didn't tip ... mind you that I did not even buy the... food, but someone I knew ordered over the phone. Their food taste good to be honest, but beware of negative attitudes by certainpeople there. Read more
I have tried MANY Chinese restaurants in the West Roxbury area but the 7 restaurant is the best. What is really ridiculous is... that they do not deliver. I would gladly pay more than the standard delivery fee rather that get a delivery from a restaurantthat is not as good. I think the owner of this restaurant is shortsighted and should rethink the use of a delivery company. Very, very disappointed. But it's a really great restaurant and when possible will still get food from them. Read more
