It's waffle house, at it's finest. From the greeting, mornin' when you walk in the door until the moment you exit... Nobody... talks much. All you hear is the orders being called to the line and the clinking of silverware. The server was totally helpfuland due to my indecisiveness she suggested the best/cheapest way to get the combo of items I like. My over easy eggs wereperfectly cooked. I think this location is for sure a top notch Waffle House. Oh, I forgot to mention the food came out sofast it was amazeballs! We have more good experiences than bad, and I can't say that we've ever had a truly terrible experience here. The service is... almost always at least adequate, sometimes it's really good. The atmosphere can be really hit or miss depending on who isworking or what combination of people you have working. I will say this, I don't know that I've ever been bored at thislocation, and certainly not recently. The food is almost always good. The biggest question mark (and this is across multipleWaffle House locations) is whether the gravy is going to be good. I've learned to ask before adding any to my hashbrowns or ahashbrown bowl. On this night, I had the cheesesteak melt which has become my new favorite thing, with hashbrowns (no gravythis night) and a plain waffle. My partner had a grits bowl and a waffle. Read more
