My gf and I rode out to Borden-Carleton for lunch and dropped in to Rudy?s as we?d heard good things about it. There were a few... people in line waiting for their meals when we arrived, but the wait wasn?t very long at all, and with four or five picnictables outside on the deck with umbrellas we had our choice of tables while waiting for our order that consisted of the ChickenTenders and fries for Caroline and the Krispy Chicken Burger with fries for myself. The burger was good, a nice portion ofwhite breast meat battered in a crisp breading with few spices that gave it a bit of zest. The coleslaw, mayonnaise and picklecombination was lovely, and I admit to bit of surprise as I love coleslaw on the side but not usually on my burger. They?dcooked it to perfection as the burger was a wee bit juicy while still fully cooked and I enjoyed it bit more than I wasexpecting. Caroline?s chicken tenders were strips of white breast meat, none of that chopped and reformed stuff. The bites sheshared with me were good, although the tiny wee dipping sauce made her have to trim the wider pieces before she could dip theminto her plum sauce. The fries were seasoned bag fries, not fresh cut and I was prepared to be disappointed but they werebetter than I expected, Caroline having hers with a side of brown gravy and mine with ketchup packets drizzled over them. Weenjoyed both of our meals, and I?d have the chicken sandwich again if I went back, but would love to try their fried chicken aswell. Read more

Skip. Order staff was rude and hollered at my wife when she (the order taker) was mumbling. Asked for a cup of water and was... given a gravy container half filled with water. Staff was outright rude. Famous burger was a Costco patty with no seasoning,chicken was unseasoned, not battered. Skip this place! Read more

Worst customer service ever! Not a smile out of the girl serving us and she got angry when asked what she said. Asking for... anything was like a big deal. The food was subpar, for them to say the chicken was island famous is a false statement, kfc hasbetter chicken. The famous burger looked like a Costco burger and had a squirt of ketchup and nothing else on it and we had togo ask for mayo for the chicken burger as they barely put any on it. Also people mentioning lobster rolls and chowder? There wasnone of that on the menu! Would never recommend, save your money! Read more

We went there tonight to pick up supper to bring back to the cottage.The owners were very friendly and hospitable. We had the... chicken and chips. Chicken was some of the best I have had.
