Incredible breakfast. Service couldn't have been friendlier.
We put our names in and were told that we would be right after the next couple. We start seeing multiple couples before us being... seated and it?s been 30 minutes already. I go inside and wait for ANOTHER 10 minutes for someone to even come over to me and hesays the man in the blue shirt will help me. He says this twice before the man with the blue shirt finally comes over another 10minutes later. It?s so chaotic in there and nobody knows what they are doing. When the man finally talks to me he says oh wealready called that name. We were waiting right near the front door listening intently and our name was most definitely notcalled. They seat us after we?ve been waiting for another 20 minutes. Nobody comes over to the table for another 10 minutes.Finally someone comes over and says ?oh has anybody helped you yet? we reply ?no? and he says he?ll be right over. Another tenminutes go by and he still has not come over to help us so we decided to leave. Wish I got to try the food, but the service wasso terrible I didn?t even want to give this place my money. They need to have a role for each person so they aren?t all tryingto do the same thing - absolutely ridiculous. Read more

I don't think the value is here. Three stars for dog friendly. Really though it was basic breakfast for way to much. 2... coffees, 2 eggs, bacon, and one waffle for $31. Read more
Every summer I enjoy going to Boothbay harbor and stop there to have a real breakfast this is the first time I ask the waitress... ice cold water and I?m only being serve red cup warm water and I don?t know because I?m black or I?m not welcome and she?s atall white women with a sad face ?I hope next time I stop there she?s not there anymore? We visited Mama D?s on a Saturday morning. The waitlist was a little chaotic, as there were people entering from both the back... and front doors. We were seated after around 10 minutes on the back deck. The restaurant was super busy, and the waitstaff didseem somewhat flustered. It took a while for us to get our coffee, and then there was a mixup where the table next to us got ourfood and started eating it. Once we had the food, it was delicious ? loved my waffle! Yum, yum, yum! We had breakfast here during a fall visit. Get here early though because this place can fill up quick. We had a... very satisfying and filling breakfast. The staff was friendly and fast. A healthy mix of locals and tourists. We indulged andenjoyed the cozy atmosphere and forgot to get pics, oh well. Sneak in here if you can. Read more
